Blumat line algae problem!

Nice bud! That about the 3 week mark?

I would have just dropped the Bud Candy and Nirvana from your nute mix. The other stuff you listed earlier is all compatible with a hydro type rez and stuff I've used for years.

Just fed my girls a big dose of nutes yesterday and waiting for the lights to come on now to see if they are taking it ok. Starting to look like I'm on the edge of nute burn but hoping they can use the extra to set more bud sites as they get going in the stretch. About the 5th day into flowering and I put up new pics in my grow log last night.

:peace:

Looks good, I'm going to give it time to work the way it should before I toss too much at it. 2 days into week 4 and still looking nice and green. When I was trying to get ROLS to work I kept running until deficiencies way too early in flower, and small yield. Just couldn't make it work, I'm happy how this one's going besides to blumat headache!

hey man, its been a while since ive run my blumats but i was getting the itch again because of their simplicity and set it and forget it nature :)
saw your thread and i dont know if i can help much other than what has already been said and truth be told i didnt fully read everyones suggestions lol but i dont think h203 kill algae(could be wrong) and i know as it breaks down it has an oxygenating effect on the res which in turn feeds the algae o2 causing faster growth. i would suggest a tiny amount of bleach or similar to kill the nasties but if you run beneficials it will kill them too. i always ran drip clean with blumats. that shit is not to be skipped with blumats or any drippers for that matter. spend the 30 and pick up a bottle that will last hundreds of gallons.

i always run jacks hydro nutrients and drip clean only no matter what style of grow. if you are gonna do additives just hand water the pots as to not fuck up the lines. i am gonna do a run with tupur, jacks and beneficials and see what happens. i didnt see a pic of your reservoir setup itself but if you havent already done so make yourself a multi res setup that auto tops off and keeps the feed line pressure constant. fun DIY project and you will be happy with the results. i think i have links in my sig on icmag, and flowerfarmer had some badass blumat setups too.

I never did resolve the issue, it worked ok for about a week after bleaching and flushing the whole system, then slowly I noticed chunks when flushing the main line. Eventually I was flushing green noodles out of dripper lines again. At that point I said screw it and went back to hand watering until harvest ( just about now). Going to get new lines and build a better res during the shuffle, as well as drip clean. I don't like the idea of any bleach making it into the soil is I can avoid it.
