bluelab pen or truncheon

Hi was in need of a new bluelab truncheon but upon searching for one the bluelab ec pen is popping up aswel has anyone had one of these to share good or bad about them or just stick with the truncheon??Thanks.

Ooops, had a flashback.

If memory serves, the truncheon doesn't measure as finely as other devices. But they are rugged and last long. Doesn't really matter that much. They all work OK.
