Blueberry muffin...ready?

Hi all,

First time grower here. Ill be frank, I have no idea what I'm doing.

I think that this blueberry muffin is done mid to late August. However ive been seeing some brown pistils and i couldnt figure out the actual flowering start date. According to HSC, this strain goes 7-8 weeks in flower. I think that I noticed this plant beginning to flower on 7/1.

Because it is my first time growing I feel that I blew guessing my start date and now I am confused about when it is supposed to finish.

For the experienced growers...how many more weeks do you think it has? Let me know if Im forgetting any relevant information.

Thanks for the help!

Looks great but not even close to ready

Hey all,

The plants get AACT about once a week...now more into the blooming style recipes.

They also get a fish hydrosylate drench every two weeks, maxicrop foliar sprays in the morning occasionally and a thick topdress of EWC.

I heavy mulched with straw so i only deep water once a week even though its been in the 90's.

I saw my first budworm yesterday so they got a BT treatment this morning and will get another one at the end of the week.

I cant think of anything else right now. The blueberry muffin is definitely the sweetest smelling plant in the garden. It really does smell like fruit. Very interesting. My other varieties all smell very similar.

Thanks again.

@dirrtyd isnt it crazy it actually smells like fruit. My other 5 plants all kinda smell the same. Im no conossieur by any stretch believe me...but the blueberry muffin definitely is a stand out. Im curious how it will smoke. Are you attracting a lot of bugs on yours?!

No not a lot of bugs at all . She is one of the strains I’m not having bug issues with. I want to see when she finishes.

Really its way to early to even be trying to figure out how long you have left. Its definitely 3-4+ weeks with no doubt at all. How many plus is tough to say at this point. Your plant looks really nice, but all those white stigma(hairs) are showing you that the plant is still actively trying to grow you fresh new buds. It will keep doing that for a few more weeks for sure before it starts to begin to ripen. When its done growing new buds, the stigma will start to turn red and shrink back towards the buds. That is the start of the swelling and ripening which will take a few more weeks.

Post another picture in 2-3 weeks for us to check out.

Flowers starting about 7/1 puts the window right around 9/1 but that window has a lot of variables so I wouldn't try to count on a specific date. Just keep us updated with pictures and we will help you see the signs the plant gives you.

My indoor plants look like that and based on my last grow I have 30 days longer until harvest. The pistils turned brown and shriveled long before the trichomes started turning cloudy.

@dirrtyd @Thundercat @BostonBuds thank you guys so much. I will keep you updated as it progresses. Im getting some spotting on my leaves and i cam figure out if it is deficiencies or natural leaf dieoff that ive seen people's plants get towards the end. When do leaves start going south during flower? I definitely havenleaf hoppers and im always stressing about mites. I kinda want them to finish so i dont have to keep worrying. We have a great weather forecast so that is good news.

Just wanted to give you an update on the DHN blueberry muffin clone.

The pistils are now starting to get brown and roll in. Nothing crazy. As this is my first grow im trying to see if I am noticing any swelling of the flowers. I dont believe so. The trichs seem to be cloudy but I'm a total newb. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Thanks everyone!!

Looks like probably about 14-18 days I would post another update in about 12 days and we will check again. At this point its all about watching the whole plant and the signs its giving. The best results will come from being patient and not rushing the process.
