hi i am new to this site and thought i would post my grow. i am growing 3 white widow, 3 blue widow and 2 white siberian all of which are from dinafem seeds. does any one no what sort of yeild to expect from these strains? i am using a 600w hps light at the moment with room for another as they get bigger. i am using canna coco nutes and boost. obviously growing in coco :). i plan to grow these plants to roughly 4 feet when finished flowering. can any body guess how much a may yeild per plant? i have also topped the plants at the second node and they are starting to buch out nicly. i will look forward to your answers and any questions.

any help on how to post pics would be greatly appriciated

Its hard to put a number on the yield as many factors determine this. But welcome to RIU any way, you got any pics of this setup?

They aren't ready to get flowered and don't get your hopes too high. 24 ounces off a 600W is very hard to achieve even for a seasoned grower.

sorry i forgot to mension i have another 600w to stick in ther wen they start flowering :) will this increase my chance of reaching my goel of 3 oz per plant? how big do you think they should be before i flower to acheive sumwere near this???? thanks i do have more lights 4 in total all 600w was only planning on using 2 but do you think it would help to use more inorder to reach my goal????

You'll need to veg them until 3 feet tall and wide and use 2 lights.
To get them this big you'll need at least 20 liter pots, I'd recommand 30 liters or so.

That way you'r getting closer.

The easier way to go would be getting a few clones and up your plant count.

My best advice for you would be to use as much light as you can and think more about keeping your plants healthy and learn as much as you can than speculating how much the grow would yield.
Keep the yield numbers for your second grow.

Had a friend with a similar set up... alot depends on soil, nutes, ferts, set up, and strain... I think my buddy had 42 plant set up... Has 2 northern lights mothers.. got 48 clones off the 2...6 died. vegged them to 12in (approx 6-7 wks) has 2 1000w hps so I dont know what kind of difference thatd make compared to your 4 600w. Anyway he encountered a few problems (spider mites and mold on a couple of the plants) After everything was said and done bad ones chopped about 35 plants were harvested after a 60 day flowering period and got just over 3lbs dry... So thatd be my estimate depending on your conditions and problems encountered. but again ALOT of variables in the growing can change your yields significantly. GOod lUck to ya

3 zips a plant .. tough to do with a 600 .. i got 9 big 4.5 foot plants.. and im guessing ill pull a qp off each. butt i did take 50 clones each plant.,. so i can say that i would of had a half pound of more a plant.. if i didnt cut so many branches off.. but. id wait tilll those girls are about 16-20 inch then flower.. but before flowering.. like a week before u toss em in .. go grab a bottle of clonex.. and some rapid rooters and a humidity dome and bottom.. and take a couple clones of each plant.. and toss them under a couple CFL lights and wait a week or 2 . sometimes 3 for them to root.. so u can keep ur genetics around ,,, the blue widow i have is 3 feet.. and man do the buds look absolutly amazing!!! take mad clones of the blue for sure.. man u wont regret it .. as long as u got a decent pheno

Im fairly new to all this but cant see much of a problem with 3oz per under 2 x 600w hps lights as long as the rest of the environment and feeding is all good, I chopped down a double berry plant that was grown under 2 x 300w equivilent CFL's, vitalink nutes, vegged it for 4 weeks, flowered for 9 and got just over 3.5oz dry trimmed weight.

3.50z dry weight off of 2 bulbs that use 62w of electricity each and you think thats dissapointing for my first attempt? i thought it was pretty good IMO, not bad for a first ever attempt but hey i'd be more than willing to wait a few months while u put up a journal using the same and show me what kind of yield i should be bringing in :)

You should veg for atleast 35+days from seed to where you plant is around 15" when induced into flower. The shorter the plant the shorter the yield. Also depends on your head space

Nah they are giant cfl's that are 300w equivalent but actually only use 62w each, they're ok lights but not much penetration for flowering, some creative trimming n positioning helped though.

So about 1g per watt is what ur after with hps? Just ordered hps & mh both 400w

Hmm how nice is it to have ur own supply for smoking, miles better than the stuff u can buy especially once it's cured for a week or 2 first!!

i actually have the 400w mh/hps too, youre going to very happy with the results. and yeah personal stash is the best, i actually cure for atleast 3 weeks for some VERY high quality. a week in the closet and two weeks in the jar with silica gel packets, cant go any better.
