thanks - yep, thats the conclusion we've come to - looks like we gave them too much nutrient too early on

The soil is an organic mix with peat
let me know how they do. i'm not experienced enough to give you advice on that but mystic have proven to me to be pretty tough plants.

does anyone have any suggestions on what i'm doing wrong with my clones or do you need more info or pics?

i"ll keep you posted. Right now one looks at deaths door and the other is a 50/50 case i think

In hindsight I gave them way too much nutrient

Only consolation is that I'll learn from it and not do it again - didnt realise BM's were such a hard plant to grow

ALso got some Wonder Woman seeds from Nirvana so have just started germinating those as I think its likely both BM's will probably fade away !

is it sitting in its own runoff water? when you water water the sides of the containers and not just by the stem- its not good for root growth. how strong of a dose did you give em? with cannabis you gotta start pretty weak and work your way up, 25% of the recommended strength is what i start with. how about some info on the nutes you using? it would really help. do you have a flowering nutrient in mind yet? whats your temps? it appears you may of nuteburned it.
hey simonh, did you miss this post? I'm assuming you must of. have you flushed them yet? I want to help if i can........

I wouldn't give up on them yet man. mine came back from the dead at a real young age and are now strong as hell. listen to everyone's advice that's what saved me. i've heard a lot of people say that blue mystic is a hardy plant and doesn't die easily. do you have a grow journal on here we can check out?

marijuana in general is a very hardy plant, i've seen lots of plants that seemed like they were as good as dead recover, both personally and on here. simonh doesnt want my help i guess! Is my help not good enough for him??? lol, jk

Sorry - been away (Xmas visiting etc). In retrospect we should have given them 25% dose as you advise but unfortunately gave them a full one !

The nute was one from a standard garden center called NPK ( Nitrogen / phosphate /potassium) cant tell you much more about it cause its in Spanish !

Flushed the plants and one looks very nearly dead and one looks like it could recover - I'm gonna leave it a couple of days and then post some pics.

Any advice on flowering nutrients would be a big help - thanks.

you need to get some nutes that you know what inside 0f the bag, lol, the fox farm lineup or the advanced nutrient lineups are both good.

it's been a while since i've posted an update. All my mother plants(hopefully) had to be killed because my room mate found out i was growing and got pissed. but i had clones of all the plants taken and in a different location. So i'm keeping the same grow going i guess, only starting 100% from clones now. I'll post pics later.

Here are some pics of the orphaned clones that i'm growing off of now. If anyone has any suggestions for really cheap ways to hide the smell of the plants i'm all ears cuz that's how my roommate foudn out i was growing. I thought about something like dryer sheets or baking soda to absorb the smell but didn't know if they'd be enough.

started flowering two days ago. I lost track of how many clones i have from each plant so i'll just have to hope for some girls.

i ended up having 3 girls and 2 males from my 5 surviving clones. I kept the males for a while so i could get some seeds for my next grow. I just killed the males about a week ago and i'm pretty sure they did their job just by looking at the females. I'll post some pics later cuz text is boring.

take them ou and put them in seperate containers right away!you are going to hurt your plants growth severly. they will all get root tangled and fight for nutes and shit. If you keep it like this they are now you are gonna regret it ALOT, those plants will probally end up 1/3 of the size they would be if in seperate pots.

I know this is a veteran growers nightmare but i wanna keep them small. I don't have room for 3 big plants, this is a stealth closet grow and it's already putting off a lot of odor. these were some clones that barely survived and i'm just using them to produce seeds for a summer grow

oh, I see, but if you wanted to keep them small the best way is to not let the root system get too big by using smaller containers, but if this is a throw away grow i guess it dont matter.

I actually had them in small containers until they showed sex. then i put the 3 females into one larger pot and kept the two males in their small pots until after they shed their pollen. I hope i get a decent smoke from what little bud i have but at worst i'll get some solid seeds to plant outdoors.

I've never grown these things for seeds before. Is there any problem with plucking seeds early or should i just wait till harvest? some of the seeds are really easy to access that's why i asked.

I'll post some pics tomorrow when the lights go back on. it's been a while since i've put any on and the leaves on the biggest plant are turning purple. I hope its supposed to do that.

Here are some shitty pics of the plant that's turning purple. it looks pretty tasty to me, the pictures don't do it justice.

Oh and they got too strong of a dose of nutes when i first started feeding them that's why some of the leaves are browned or curled. thank god they're so freakin tough
