Blue Mountain Organics - How do I know if they are still good?

Last year I bought the BMO Trio (Grow it green, foliar harmony, and flower power + free bottle of super plant tonic). I used a small amount of the nutrients for a grow that I ended up not continuing. I put the nutes in a box and they have been sitting on a shelf for nearly 9 months. When I put them away, I made sure the caps were loose, knowing the contents were live. Unfortunately, I found them today with the caps tight and the bottles had negative pressure inside (someone I live with moved them and discovered the loose caps, and tightened them). The batch date was 2-17-15 and the shelf life is 1.5 years, so I'm thinking they should be okay. But, the caps have been tight for months now, and clearly no oxygen got inside, so I fear that the live organisms are now dead. Opinions? Should I just buy a fresh batch since its only like $35 shipped?

I'm thinking I'm just going to test the stuff out and feed my plants with it. If the organisms are in fact dead, I feel it wouldn't harm the plants at all. I can definitely tell when the nutes start working on the plants, I remember from last time that the plants respond very quickly to nutes when they are ready to start feeding. If I don't see any changes and it doesn't look like the nutes are doing the plants any good, I'll just order a fresh batch. Going to try them out and see what happens.

In the mean time, it would be cool if I could get some of your response and opinions on the matter. I'm sure someone has some input!

No experience with BMO, but my WAG (Wild Ass Guess), is that they are probably still good.

I'd bet you would be OK using them , I'm sure they use some stabilizers in the formulas . So unlike a food product I think yer safe on running them beyond the date on the bottles . Do you notice any out of the ordinary smell or bloating/swelling of the bottles . If not may as well run & save a few buck$ .
