Blue Light For Work In Dark (12/12)

I thought I had read somewhere that you can use blue light to work in your grow room in the dark without affecting the plants light cycle. Is this correct or was it red? I tried google and the in house search but couldn't find this answer.

You can buy a lighter at the gas station with a small green led on the end of it.
Works like a champ.
I bought a green party bulb for the room, but never turn it on.
Let em sleep.

I screwed a green party bulb into the fixture in my room...and one in the hall fixture outside the room. It's come in handy a few time - it's not bright enough to inspect your plants but it's good for quick adjustments to air or emergency watering.

yea has to be green but u are right but it only true blue cannot have any other colors dont get a blue party bulb would have to be led ed roes whatever his name is said that

No, it HAS to be a GREEN light. The reason why, plants (not just MJ) Absorb light through a green pigment called chlorophyll located in the leaves. The actual parts of the visible light spectrum that plants absorb are red and blue. Hence Metal Halide bulbs for veg and HPS for flowering. We see green when we look at them because they reflect the green portion of the light spectrum. This is why green light can be used during dark periods.
