Blue Dream - Santa Cruz Cut

By any chance does anyone here have or know where to find the original clone only Blue Dream Santa Cruz Cut?

I know it's old now but I've literally been trying to hunt this down for years(probably close to 10 now?) here in Canada and have yet to be even close to finding it. Not even knowing somebody who knows somebody type thing.

I've grown out several "Blue Dream" seeds from various companies and some were good but most were straight trash. And although I was happy to have decent copy cats at the time, I still couldn't help but wondering what the original was like. Feedback from anyone who has had it all claim that "the seeds aren't even close to the original".

I figured I'd eventually come across the original cut but at this point it's been so long and it's now at the point of being considered an old strain, I've almost given up on it. I even considered taking a trip to the US to collect some hard to get clones(in Canada) and try to smuggle them back with this cut being top of my list. Decided against that though, bad idea lol.

Gonna go a head and toss up this thread as a last chance type deal. If anyone who has a real deal cut or know how a guy could acquire it happens to read this, PLEASE do me a favor and reach out to me.

I just grew out Blue Dream from a clone I picked up through mail order. It was one of my favorite strains to vape, even though it didn`t have an overwhelming blueberry taste. Sort of musky.

I`m going to order some BD seeds from Dr Greenthumb next, I believe they`re S1s from the original clone. Not sure though. Doc does some good sourcing for his genetics. You could send him an email if you`re curious.

S1's from the original sound interesting but I personally won't be completely happy until I get my hands on the original itself. Probably won't ever happen but doesn't hurt to ask around or it likely for sure won't.

I can tell you for a fact humboldt seeds [ringo] is the closest you will find to that cut-—that original cut came up to n mendocino to tim and he gave it to ringo who worked it into seed form

Sorry I am not up on the time or story? Can you please provide a link? The blue dream humbolt version ive tried was awesome and blueberry taste. luve some of those seeds you speak of direct.

Just to clarify are we talking "Humboldt Seed Organization" or "Humboldt Seed Company"? Kind of confusing tbh.

Grew some from Humboldt Seed Organization recently and the end result was so bad i literally threw the finished product along with the plants in the garbage. With that being said i also grew out the same strain, from the same company 8-9 years ago and it was so good that it's the reason why I still want it to this day.

I live in Canada btw so simply picking up a cut in Santa Cruz and bringing it home isn't so easy. I have considered trying it though lol.

Ahh k, I see. It's neither one of those two places I mentioned. Wonder if they ship seeds to Canada? Guess I'll have to shoot em an email.

I feel you brother! im a canadian too and im in the same situation!i suggest you to try the SIN CITY nightmare line! this company is legit !or if you can find the n.e.m they cross nightmare with blue dream but its rare now ...iam growing right now a lot of nightmare cross,and all pheno tend yo be like the original blue dream! im still in early flowering.. i think the landrace side on the blue dream dominate all pheno normaly i found with landrace cross..but i do grown a LOT of seeds and i can tell you from my experience, the truth is :you can have similar easy or better than clone in my view #1 you have to find the GOOD seeds* and #2 you have to pheno hunt a LOT..i do have a lot of sin city blue dream cross i will stay you uptaded

I actually did try the SIN CITY "whitenightmare". It was pretty average stuff. No where near as good as the HSO Blue Dream I had.

I think we've all had "the one that got away". Looking like this is mine. I'm starting to think that even if I found the real deal santa cruz one I probably still wouldn't like it as much as the one I had. Is what it is. *shrug*.

There are a few guys on Strainly that are willing to ship to Canada from the US. I do recall seeing the santa cruz cut of blue dream on there. I'd track in down on strainly and ask the seller if he's willing to ship to Canada.

Check out seller "pink box", I think he might have it and he will ship to canada.

FirstClassGenetics on IG I know for a fact has that cut but they want 250USD for it, they will ship to canada too for 80usd express.

Yes, prices are crazy high, but there must be people willing to pay it. They are a US seller, very well know on IG, with a good rep too. It's all hype... there are strains on that list selling for $250 currently that were selling for $1k last year.

My friend bought a "breeder cut" of wedding cake off them last year for $250, plus $80 for shipping. He was expecting 1 rooted clone but 2 came in the mail with a few extra snips. It was in a clone shipper package with a little LED light. Clones were healthy and clean. Personally would pay the $250 for a "clone only" but anything more than that is robbery imo.

It's weird how things like that work in the US. Especially California. 2k clones are usually for new flavor of the moment type stuff. Probably nothing holy grail about it. I'm sure it's pretty good and all but worth 2k? Doubt it.

My main issue with strainly is that sometimes they make through customs and sometimes they don't. Have to be willing to fork up the cash and accept that you may very well receive nothing.

Does pink box actually ship to Canada? I find that most vendors there don't.

Pink Box and Canna Clones ship to Canada. I have a friend who got clones from PinkBox... I just recently got a clones from Canna Clones.
