This is my first ever grow journal, and second grow ever done. Here is what I have supplies wise:

4 Big Buddha Blue Cheese Plants (Feminised Seeds)
5 Greenhouse Seed Great White Shark Plants (Feminised)
2 100 W CFL's
1 400 W HPS
Buckets & Soil

We have 9 plants in 8 buckets right now. There are two sharks in one and tommorow we will be transplanting it because at the time we didnt have another bucket. Right now we have both CFL's runnign 24/7 on the plants. We do intend to throw the 400 W very soon here. One thing me and my partner were debating was to grow one strain indoors, and the other outside. We have chose the Shar to eventually go outside. But, not we aren't sure if we will have the luxury of growing the Blue Cheese indoors. Therefore we may have some planning to do.

I will also will be getting better pictures and pics of each plant. I only had my webcam avalible so I did the best I can!:dunce:

Please keep in contact and comment as much as you want. I plan to frequently visit this page and always add to the thread. I love to get advice because with help i will hopefully have a good crop at the end :bigjoint:

Today was the first time returning to the spot since last time. My camera let me down and wouldn't turn on. Tommorow I will upload pictures of the plants.

The plants look twice as good then before. All have atleast double in size and seem to be getting taller. The third set of leaves are appearing on all of the plants now.

One question though... My friend claims that since his plant is a purp plant from a bag seed, that this is why his stem is purple. Now every single one of my plants dont carry that color, but they are all feminised. Does this mean anything like a possible purp plant, male plant, or what i think is that its just to early to tell.

Tomorrow I promise to have new pics of every plant. Please feel free to comment!

I'm going to be following this one dude, I just placed an order for a feminized great white shark seed that will become a mother. Good luck and happy growing bongsmilie

Edit: just saw your pics and noticed how high above the plants that CFL is. I would move it closer to the plants to prevent stretching. I'm using two 26 watt CFL's to veg 5 seedlings and there is no stretch. I keep the bulbs 1-2 inches away from the tops.

i left it that high because im afraid of drying out the leaves. What will happen if the plants stretch because i think it may be happening right now. I am uploading pictures later today and i hope you will take a look...:|

If the plants stretch they could fall over. You want short tight nodes that are real close together. When do you plan on switching to the 400 watt HPS?

not quite sure yet. In the room we have it in, it doesn't look like its possible to hang without moving out a few plants. I will get some pics later on to show you...

Here are the pictures of the plants closer up. Im almost positive they are stretched already. Except for moving the lights down (which i did), is there anything else i can do to help these plants out....

I'm not seeing any pics but to strengthen the stems add a small oscillating fan in the grow room. That and to bury the plant up right below the cotyledon.

Pots are filled to the rim now and were putting a fan in it later today. I have to get a splitter or exstention cords because we are using all the available outlets right now.

The Shark plants are getting very big leaves on them already and are growing extremly fast! The Blue Cheese plants are stilll growing, but i know there going to be smaller in size...

Pick up a nice surge protector man. They got ones with like 10 outlets that have caught my eye before. The only thing is the price is a bit high

Your plants are stretching just a wee bit.

there shud be no stem inbetween the cotyledon and set of leaves. Dont be afraid to lower your lights. CFL's wont burn them. You can get them a good 2-3 inches away from the top of your plant with fluros. Lower those lights to prevent further stretching.

haven't been able to get to my spot in a while, but the plants look great. we have a fan running in there now and we have thrown in the 400 W light. Plants look great, but one plant looks to have been stepped on and one needs to be transplanted into a bucket. Me might just take out the almost dead one and add the one from the cup.:eyesmoke:
