Well it seems as if the soil i got came with free gnats, anyone know a good organic way to get rid of em? I read to let the soil dry out, which I'm letting it do but I'm worried my little babies will shrivel up and die

i believe its organic have to look into these mosquito bits.
supposed to work on fungus gnats. i have a few flying around my house plants.
just bought some to try out do not want an infestation in my ganja garden so trying to curb it.

That sounds perfect :D, i goan get me some. I'm just really concerned that their might be eggs and shit that i can't see under the soil

i cannot comment of if they work or not should have mine sometime this week.
good luck i recycled a bunch of soil from all of my outdoor potted plants and think i brought them in my house this way so will be treating everything as a precaution.
also try some yellow poster board with corn syrup on it then set on top of soil. the gnats are attracted to yellow then they are stuck.

I actually ended up just getting mosquito dunks from the local store because i wanna try and get them under control asap. Just gonna let a 1/4 of 1 of the dunks soak in a gallon of water over night and water away tomorrow, hopefully it works :).

Mmm yes, i try to smush those little buggers whenever i see them, they don't put up much a fight, and I'm curious if this mosquito dunk is a 1 time thing, or should i do it on like a weekly/monthly basis?

Oooohh and 1 more question, is it bad if all of the dunk doesn't dissolve and gets poured into my soil? I broke the 1/4 into tiny little pieces

After a mosquito dunk watering :), hopefully it works. I'm gonna do it again in a week maybe to be sure.
