Blooming fertilizers with high Nitrogen?

Sup gardeners, I've from a few different people that contrary to belief, a decent amount of Nitrogen

is pretty ideal for healthy, happy buds during fowering. Would anyone like to share some insight? My plants are yellowing

at a faster rate than they should since they've started flowing so I thought a high N feed wouldn't hurt. I'm using some organic FFOF/Roots soil

btw. Also, does anyone know of a good blooming fert with some nitrogen in there? Thanks.

Common sense would tell you that a healthy plant is a happy plant that will perform to the best of its genetic abilities. Therefore, if the plant wants nitrogen, give it nitrogen and keep it happy. I've been using a balanced fertilizer and will continue to do so, my girl is green and healthy, so why fix what isn't broken. I'm far from an "expert", this year is my first grow, but I don't feel it takes much expertise to apply common sense. Just my two cents.

Good luck.

Some people think excess nitrogen delays the onset of flowering. Try it on some and not others, then you'll be doing your own research.

A friend of mine swears by Jack's Classic, others seek more organic stuff. Sometimes Bears and other critters like to dig up organic stuff though.

In your situation(from yesterday), I'd take a trip to Home Depot...I have been finding quite a few organic granule and liquid ferts that would help your situation. Or better yet, a nursery.

I keep the nitrogen going pretty good and you need to keep it stocked up before flowering And feed it good nitrogen into the first 3 weeks of flower after that I will back it down and take that up with flowering nutes but never cut it out all the way. If you see yellowing this early it needs it.

yup if she's yellow and not nearly finished she probably needs more N - many people continue feeding N until the plants stop their stretch (2-3 weeks in).

ive been using cheap shit for years, best numbers iv found were 11.35.15 works great. use it for flower and veg, from homedepo, not organic, I don't see any delay from flowering . but when we are on this subject, co2 users , if your injecting it above 1200 ppm say you have 4 weeks left , I did a test , I cut the co2 to 800 ppm abouts and the buds did not mature ripen as fast wich is good because the buds have a chance of getting much larger ! I actually got about 30 % more yield doing this, because higher co2 ripens them before they have a chance to get large, my experience only , and a full wallet to prove it, im talking buds that are 10 inches long and 2 inches around compare to 5 inch long 2 inch round , using the same strand with over 20 different harvests off them. try it only way I will do it for now on !

Thanks for all your advice, I think I'll do what Rob Roy suggested and try different ratios for different plants. But DynaGro has definately been on my mind lately. Although I was more looking at the Blooming Liquid, but i'll have to brush up on their foliage pro. Looks like some good stuff.

Yellowing at that stage of a grow is usually an indication of needing some cal-mag. In all my grows I find I've needed cal-mag from 2nd week of bloom till 4th-5th week of bloom. I used GH's FloraNova line for a couple of years and had good luck but it was costly so I took a gamble on DynaGro and have never regretted it. DynaGro is fool proof, its so easy to use that I was skeptical at first but man am I happy with it. Last grow I got 4.25lbs of dried pruned rock hard bud from 6 plants in a 5gal bucket homemade hydro system.
