Apply a few of teaspoons around the outskirts of the trunk (about half a foot away). A small amount of this goes a long way and it takes a couple of weeks to become available to the plant - but when it does, the plant will take off.

bone and blood meal are both non suluable organic nutriets which means they must be mineralized (processed by bacteria) before becoming available to the plant. Generally one medium dosing of blood meal durring the vegetative state is fine - remember it is slow realeased as it only becomes available upon ionization. One to two treatments of bone meal should suffice durring flowering. Amounts depend upon products - miracle grow organic bone meal is a very finely ground and it partially mineralized thus being absorbed faster and depleted faster (you are going to have to apply in smaller doses more often). Larger particle sized bone/blood meals last longer but also release slower.

Those look extremely healthy. You might skip out on the bloodmeal.

Once a month. Just remember small amounts. Too much and you'll fry your plants (which, as Gastanker said, look really good).

best to mix it in with your medium b4 hand cause as stated takes awhile for it to become available for the plant :)

I would stay away from both blood and bone meal if you are outside. Animals looove the smell and they WILL dig up your plants for it. If its too late, look into animal deterants or making a tea. You can put the "meals" in a pantyhose and put that in water. Put a air pump and an airstone to aerate the water and make it very nutrient rich.

I normally just spread it around the bottom when transplanting into the ground, but my bud has been a bit airy, and i was thinking they weren't getting enough phosphorus, and i couldnt find anything with a higher lever so ive decided to use blood and bone. thanks for the help guys, plants started budding yesterday will update photos soon.
