Blaze & Daze

I LIVE for sleep time soundscapes. Since I was conscious of myself i have taken ages to fall asleep, wake up quickly, then have nothing to do without disturbing my house mates or neighbors(family in the past when i lived with them). Videos like this, and longplay boardgame videos on low sustain my night brain. I'mma try this one, I liked the first few minutes.
I can't stand a TV or people talking etc... This is an example of what I do like - it helps drown out the tinnitus. Be forewarned though, some say "No ads" & they're lying, nothing will make me more alert than someone trying to sell me shit in the middle of the night.

I pay for the no ad youtube due to my nightly insomnia. Added to the list. Thanks pops!

I type pretty fast and tend to omit or miss strike letters at times - tell me I'm not the only one who corrects spelling mistakes sometimes a couple of days after the original post?

Like just now for instance.

My youngest son has something like that Odin is not a fan
Our Beagle is terrified of thunder storms but some how he can tell the difference between a real one and youtube. I think it might be the barometer shift as he will let us know when one is coming wayy before we hear or see anything.

Well, summer has arrived. P-Mother-S has gone into her summer mode, which is defined by a shorter, less kind disposition. I am sure to limit physical touch to only the most air conditioned of circumstances, if I want to keep my fingers and other appendages.

Meals for the next month will be things that generate as little residual heat as possible. Salads and sandwiches are on the horizon.

Yesterday we headed out to the middle of nowhere for a peach festival that was a bust. Pretty sure I was on the verge of a heat stroke when we decided to pack it in (became oddly chilly).

Late July isnt a bad start for upper 90s temps in Okla, but I would be happier to avoid it.
Still beats mowing for my father's post retirement project of mowing for members of his church in the Texas summer.
I will brave the outdoors to mow and water my lawn today, but it is going to take a bit more motivation than the first cup of coffee has to offer.

P-Mother-S is discussing going to a public pool at a park near us, but my ample can of Crisco makes me self conscious, to share it so publicly.
I know better than to care, but still I do.

Gonna pour another cup of coffee and focus the fan on my delicate papal self.

The Sacred Capybara hopes you have a large body of water to retreat to. Stay Chill and Chilled.

Haha you got the memory of a elephant ( that's a good thing ) bringing up plum liquor. Those bottles filled does look tasty.
I'm not so sure about the memory being that good. Just this morning I was contemplating how my memory isn't what it used to be and guess that's ok, as sometimes it's no less important to forget than to recall.

The Pearl Jam tribute band last night left me somewhat sleep deprived, with less than 8 hours. Being the sober one was interesting, with my wife being delightfully obnoxious after 4 drinks. She's been that way for the 7th time now in 38 years, so it was welcome and memorable. Good times - outdoor music on a pleasant summer night.

As long as you got to take advantage of her it's all good...

Heck yeah bud sounds like a great time to me. Funny you contemplating your memory and I say that, coincidences are crazy. Congrats on 38 years with the wife,I know she has some stories with you, lol.

After I fell asleep, she got up because she had the munchies and ate some chips. Also alleges that she contemplated jumping my bones, but i don't recall that happening. Perhaps I should be the driver again in September for the Tragically Hip tribute band we're attending and come straight home instead of attending the porch party afterwards - just to test if her intentions are consistent - for science, you know!

Coincidence indeed. Those aren't stories, she lived it! I give her an Oz break on Fridays as she attends park bingo. My shenanigans can overwhelm her at times. Bless her for putting up with me all these years.
