Harvest is basically done - trimming, taking down old system for cleaning, putting in new clean system, refilling reservoirs, etc.. It was a lot of work, but I don't have a job, so I've got time.

Old system coming out to be cleaned and sanitized -

New, clean system ready to go in -

New system put in save for the upper trellis -

New system in and veg plants inserted. I LSTed them hard, broke them in half and tucked all the branches under the lower trellis -

How am I gonna get out these massive root mats out of the rails?

First pull up and cut the net cups free -

Then I just turned the rails upside down and gave it a bang. Check out the cool root mat that just slid out!

One thing I dig about this system is the ease of rez maintenance - I hook up a garden hose to the kitchen sink, and the rez pump pumps out all the old nutes. I then turn off the pump, turn on the kitchen faucet with the hose attached, and fill the rez up in the opposite direction. Love it -

It is a fucking jungle in the mom tray, I gotta cut them down and take clones tonight!

Drying rack all filled up, hoping for 10 oz. dry for this first run. We'll see -

Glad to take a couple week break after taking clones tonight. Kinda tired of plant shit for now...
First time I've actually seen your grow. Thank you for sharing Tyler.

Mornin'.

Ahhh....profits from weed. Thanks for the memories! (and yes..the sharing) Enjoy it while you can and have a solid back up plan 'cus....yeah... (waves goodbye). Harsh tokes are on the horizon....cough...cough...cough. :D

It truly looks like we're gonna get dumped on. No backing out on the totals/etc like we often see. Could be a doozey if the upslope pattern hangs around for a few days like they say it might. 8"-18" still forecasted below 8500 ft. Pretty sure it'll hammer much harder up high but they don't put out warnings for the areas above where folks reside. (about 8000 ft here) My back already hurts...LOL.

Starting to think about what I'm gonna pop for the Summer outdoor foray and when I wanna make the jump. Nothing can go outside until June 1 at the earliest here....so it's a timing thing and a "how big do I wanna go?" thing. I usually start 4/20 but I may go earlier this year because I'm TRYING to contain myself and stay "close" to counts. Trying. It's a lot of work for weed ya really don't need but it's an addiction here after so many years of cranking it out... Heehee. I love to see a hoop full of plants...

Those are very nice. Some of the only plants I've seen of late grown under LED (I presume) that aren't deficient in some way, shape or form. LOL.
Should be a good take!
Thank you. I've seen comments before about led lighting causing deficiencies, often ascribed to inadequate temps, but I've never seen it and I've used quite a few different brands at this point. I do like to keep my flower space temps in the low 80s with lights on. I have no sentimental yearning for hps at this point. I am surprised that no company has come out with a line of led specific nutrients. Hey, don't steal my idea!

It's everywhere, IMO. At first I thought it might be the mid-Kelvin levels/hues of these lights and my bionic eye lenses that cast a different hue on most everything...but I just keep seeing pale plants/weird stuff and I just don't remember that many deficient plants in the olden daze with MH/HPS. It's the first time in 30+ years here I've purchased "Cal Mag". I'm not yearning for HID but I'm also not sold on LED 100%. I'm actually thinking of starting my outdoor plants under MH again. I miss those deep blue hues....

At least I don't have to worry about filters anymore. There is that.

What are you getting? When I'm in that neck of the woods I want schnitzel at the black forest inn.
There’s a Game Time Social which checks off the boxes for the kids (arcade games etc) and Mum and I can just chat & eat. Weather is going to be stellar so maybe a walk down by the waterfront after lunch too. These March Break/Spring Break days gotta be full up ;)

Part of what you're seeing is grower skill, I think. Widening legalization and cheap lights have really widened the pool of growers who have no gardening experience and this site is where many of them come so we see those efforts more frequently. Before led lights the pool was vastly smaller and generally more experienced because there was expense and legal risk weeding out the casuals.

I've been growing perpetually since 1991 and the switch to LED and fookin tents has been a challenge here...LOL. Cramped...deficient...dinky dinky dinky. After having dedicated rooms and then growing outdoors....I think I'm spoiled. :D IMO....there IS a difference between these lighting sources...for sure. Not sure what it is but the folks making cal-mag and other nutes (get on it man!) must be doing a Land Office business these days.

I'm ready for Summer...and bigger >everything<...and no humidity...and no electric bill....and...and...and...
