Got most of the pvc glued up last night to hook pump to manifold in the tent. Put the last piece in this morning. Gonna test this puppy out tonight. I went ahead and plumbed it for the 400gph aquarium pump, but I think I did it in a manner that I can swap that pump for the vivosun 1/4hp pump. That 1/4hp pump is fucking violent when it kicks on. Plus it's like 300+w. Not that it's on a long time, but if the smaller pump will work, I'm gonna run with that for a bit.

morning, new heater arrived yesterday. My temps didn't go below 69 last night and as a positive side effect my humidity is quite a bit lower.

Nice!!! I just saw this weekend that ryobi now has a 1 gallon shop vac for their ONE+ system. And it's only $50. Definitely need one of those in my future. Not for water though. I'm evolving. I'm about to go from caveman to neanderthal!!!

My 3 gallon was a damaged box sale for $75 CAD. No batter tho, but I have a bunch of them.

I'm still draining caveman style for a few more weeks. I've been draining this way every day since July. Getting pretty tired of it.

Same on the batteries. I LOVE my ryobi tools for around the house. I've had them for like 5 years I think and they still function like new.

As far as the draining goes, I got mine hooked up to the old tub drain the other night and now I just splash water all over with reckless abandon!!!! It's glorious!!!! Can't wait to get the pump running to do all the work for me!!

Not me. I'm helping a buddy out (well and he's giving me some $ too) since I've been laid off. Jobs are easy to come by......but not ones that pay lol. And not many are like what I do. So it's been different here lately. But I got the gear so it works out and it helps him......it's not easy work, it's hard for them too get real help. I like being out there too.
laid off you say…

Grrrr!!!!! Got the reservoir filled up and marked in 4 gallon increments. Fired the pump up and it takes about exactly 1 minute to pump 1 quart per line. The anti siphon valve only spits a couple drops out of it. BUT, the water lines just keep running after I shut the pump off. It appears to be about the same height as the highest point in my water lines, definitely way above the top of the fluid in the res. I'm gonna try to shim the valve up just a little bit and see if that makes a difference. Any suggestions?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I take the air bleed valve completely off of the pvc pipe, should that not completely break any suction off of the lines? I removed the bubbler from its quick connect and water just kept coming out like crazy. The pump is unplugged. I then unscrewed the air bleed valve completely just to verify it wasn't bad or something and the water just kept running out of the low spot where I removed the bubbler. I let it sit and run like that for a whole minute or so. It had plenty of time to empty the lines, but somehow kept pulling water.

So the reservoir is lower than the hoses?
