Bought a BlackStar Chrome 270 yesterday. I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. I am replacing a BlackStar 240 that I had an issue with. Half the lights went out all of a sudden so I called up Gotham to see how they wanted to handle the warranty. Gotham was real cool about it. They had me run a couple tests to see if I needed to send the light to them for repair or to see if they needed to send me a new power supply for user repair. Turned out that I needed to send it in to them so I asked about giving me an upgrade and we worked a deal. The light that broke was about 7 months old and I was satisfied with it. I did quite a few hydro and soil grows with it. Usually only one or two plants at a time. I'm a personal stash guy so the BlackStar 240 did alright by me but I'm damn sure looking forward to the Chrome 270 getting here. Can't wait to see what kind of results I get with it. Just hope I can keep my nice AutoMazar that is about 3 weeks from being finished healthy while I'm waiting for the Chrome. I put two of those giant 200 watt CFL's on it. Seems to be OK so far but it's only been a day.
