SS, Root systems are incapable of utilizing oxygen in its gaseous form (What comes out of your air pumps). In hydroponics Air pumps are used to break the tension of the surface above making it more turbid, allowing the water without DO molecules to come in contact with the oxygen rich air, thus increasing DO percentages in your water culture OR mini res in HEMPY (pasive reservoirs also become oxygenated through the wicking action of nutrient delivery). The extra molecule of oxygen can only then be utilized by the root system. Your roots are not growing around the airstone cause they like it, and actually greater DO percentages can be achieved by simply waterfalling the reservoir mixture over and over into itself in DWC (Which is why Undercurrent can be run successfully with out the use of airstones at all). Final summation; I dont see great advantages to adding airstones to the bottom of a hempy reservoir (I tried ;)) BUT I dont want to inhibit your inquiring nature and wish you more succes than I found!~S0uP

I got some before and after pics of the transplant, she took well to the change just a little lighter in color but not much so when i watered today i gave her alittle calmag to see if it helps any. I put her under the hps 18/6 @ 200w (its so nice and cool at 200w its like a perfect spring day in there) she loves it! I started training today on 2 of the top branches and ill be looking to add on the screen in maybe a week but well see. 002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg026.jpg027.jpg028.jpg029.jpg031.jpg032.jpg

Update time! BJ is looking nice and healthy, her canopy is super thick thanks to the tight node spacing. It reminds me so much from when the first time i grew her . I attached the screen last night and she still got about 2 more weeks of veg to fill it then time to flip i hope.

Sweet! Love the blackjack, she's such a tight little bush. She is going to fill in real nice, I think your estimate of 2 weeks is going to be spot on.

The new phone adjustment period is always a pain in the ass! The BJ girl is looking outstanding bro. Looks like she might test your space limits, she is huge! I keep saying it, but that hempy growth is just amazing. Looking forward to some fat ass blackjack nugs!
