Black putty hash

It’s all I had pretty much growing up, I have a few totes full of bud I’d like to make into it.

From what I’ve researched I’ll need to make dry sift, then add cherry oil or honey oil to make it putty?

I want to make a large batch. Is there any way to stream line the process?

subbed, I really miss this from late 80's early 90's. I'm going to have easily a couple pounds in 3 months and am wanting to do the same!

yeah I’m not looking to roll a hot bottle of water for hours upon hours unfortunately

Is this not the same as ice water hash? Mine is like a putty when it’s done. Kind of like a dry putty.

Just put it between to pieces of wood and park car on it. I used to use a super think ply plastic and fold over to make envelope thing snd boom. Better if it’s warm out

This is essentially the way I do it. With one exception I don't soak the trim with ISO. I soak dry sift with 99% ethanol. Shake the hell out of it for a few minutes if that then strain it through a coffee filter. This gets reduced down after it's reduced and still all warm in the pan or in the Pyrex I start adding my keif in and chopping it up with a dough scraper/ cutter until it's pretty well mixed and then I finish mixing it with my hands needing it like dough squish the s*** out of it for as long as I can until it's homogeneous and then roll it into a nice ball. I shook trim w dry ice to get the keif. Where you have buds it should be that much better imo. The less time you leave it in the alcohol the less chlorophyll you pick up from the contamination in the keif obviously. In my case the ethanol was still green but made no off flavor.

I like to roll it into thin shoelaces and lay the strings on top of the weed just before I roll a fatty.

Just sift it gently and keep an eye on the color. Once the shift changes from blonde I'll separate it and make a few grades. I'm not trying to say you don't know this already I'm just putting it out there
