Black liquid for making brownies

My friend was sent some liquid in a bottle from a medicinal grower. They told her that it would make some really nice brownies. It isn't thick like an oil but more like water. Any idea what this is? They have tried to get in touch with them to ask how to use it but have been unable. What is this? Sorry I don't have a picture, it's at their place.

sounds like it may be a tincture. maybe a glycerine or alcohol

I'm not sure what it is or how to use it. Hopefully someone will know what it is.

Does it smell of alcohol? wouldn't of thought it would be black..why not drop some onto glass and let it dry out?

maybe it is a cooking oil

I'll run by tomorrow and see it and smell it and take a picture of it.
