Black Lights UV?

A friend was sayin that the ole' black light would work for a uv source. Is this true? Also: Uv's for reptiles are off white, what's with that?

You get more UV from Metal Halide lamps. Your friend must be talking about something else.

*black light is cool for making stuff glow but goodluck getting any response from your plants ;P

so what is your guys opinion on, if your growing indoors, you need uv light to increase thc?

*honestly, you dont really need it to produce good results indoors
