Black Flies?

Hey, I have little black bugs flying around in my soil. I think they're starting to eat at my leaves. The leaves are starting to look like there are tares and drying up? I'll have pics soon. Any ideas if these two are related? or how to get rid of the bugs? I just started 12/12 three days ago. Help please...

Put some bleach in your water. Like 10 drops for every liter of water.

Oh and yeah they are related.

i have the same thing, u can barely see them. one time i seen a bigger black thing fly out of the soil when i waterd i'm like in 30 days flower or more and i still have the problem

Well .. You should do that same thing that i told this dude to do so the flys die.

yeah.. The scented one will kill the plant with the scent chemical.

with the nutes if you like but be careful and dont add too much.. You dont want the ph to fly do you.

i don't even know my ph i just use cold water that has been sitting for a few days

Put it with the water.. That would work best.

Every two months try to flush your plant.

bleach??soil???? not good a good idea man ....just pick up some mosquito dunks....use about half of one dunk in a 5 gallon water and use stickys for adult gnats .....how do i knoe this?????? cuz im right in the same boat as you dealing with them right now in 3 weeks of 12/12..........

SPENSAAA MENSAAAAAAAAA

you have fungus gnats - not a big deal clean area make sure no old rock wool or anything

damp and dark is lying around the love stuff like that diatomaceous earth sprinkled around the base of plants helps the gnats lay eggs in the soil/rockwool resulting maggots
feed on root hairs and only cause problems if u ignore them and they get out of control
don't over water let the plants dry out a bit between watering u should be OK

Mosquito dunks work. That's what I did. Does take a little time thogh. 2-3 weeks.

cant agree with you anymore......i noticed that too...thought they werent working but till like 2 weeks i noticed a difference...
