We have known for decades now that the best energy solution is to deal with the tides, as they rise and fall with precision due to the Moon. The problem has, and still is, coming up with a solution that will not destroy natural habitat, as well as function according to how we need it to. In fact, we have implemented several different attempts at this very issue.

Again, I think the idea is there, however now you have to hook a wire to that station and transport it to another turbine or capacitor. We need a huge field of those to gather energy that will make a impact, however it is essentially "free", just like wind, dams, solar, etc, etc.

Not a breakthrough by any means...

I agree with the problem of the environment damage. So far its solar power, wind turbines, micro hydro as renewable energy is the best since we know it works and those don't damage the environment or not as bad as the wave kind.

Thanks for the input guys, I was trying to inform others who may not be so up to date on the different energy sources we have and some of the technology we've made for such. Though not completely clean energy, this biowave tech is something and only with trial and error can we find a true clean renewable energy source.
