BioBizz Nutes Help Please

i have been using biogrow through my whole grow but i think it was as much as 10ml per lite as i wasnt measuring. i now have droppers and my girls are two weeks into flowering, how much ml per litre should i use of both BioGrow and BioBloom? +rep for any help, thanks

hello im using biobizz aswell in flowering i use 1 ml of grow thoughout cycle use 2ml of bloom for two weeks then increse to 3 ml bloom for two weeks then increse to 4ml bloom for two weeks till end of plants life works really well for me hope this helps you

It completly depends on strain to be honest, and 10ml per litre is completly insane, I bet your run off is a serious orange reddy brown. Flush your pots completly, your soil will be insanely hot if you fed it multiple times like that.

I like to do 1ml of Grow and 1ml of Bloom per litre at the start of flowering, wait a couple weeks then bring it up to 1ml Grow and 2ml Bloom per litre, then just let the plants tell me what they need. And just remember it can take 3 or 4 days for Biobizz nutes to be taken up by the plant, so dont expect instant results.

thats absolutely awseome feedback guys. fortunately the plants didnt burn from the insane amounts they were getting earlier in life. i didnt flush but i did not feed them nutes for 2 weeks, just water. they were looking a bit limp yesterday so i had to feed them and i gave them 3ml grow and 2.5ml bloom. il see how that works out and then change to less grow and maybe more bloom next time. thanks again for the feedback though, really appreciate it. +rep to those concerned

The problem is that all the organic compounds are still in your soil, and the microorganisms in the soil can/will eventually break them down and they could just burn all of a sudden. Just outta interest tho, why did you HAVE to feed them? Is it cos they were a bit limp? Were they yellowing or showing another deficiency or were you just feeding them for the sake of feeding them? Just wondering, cos the amount of nutes in the soil you have already is probably UNREAL. Id really recommend flushing them and starting your nutes fresh, even just cos the Biobizz range is quite acidic, so your soil pH is probably really low from all the nutes in it too, like pH 7.5 water is dropped to 4.5 with 10ml of nutes per litre, just so you know...ok end of post, hope this helps!

It would be a lotta a lotta hassle flushing them because theyre in a loft and transporting them down would be very dodgy. I have been checking the pH through the grow and its never went below 6.5 or above 7. when they were getting overfed, im really unsure of how much they were getting, i was just pouring a bit into a jug and mixing it, sometimes it was a lot but sometimes it wasnt that much so i may have gotten lucky this time. I fed them today because they needed some water and i wanted to give them some bloom nutes because they are two weeks into flowering and they hadn't had any. now i have the measuring capabilities i will be fine from the start of the next grow, as of this grow il just keep the nutes level fairly low from now on just incase. thanks again for the time and help mate cheers.

Ahh, awkward loft jobby, was the one reason I never went for it. Anyways good growing man, peace!

Have you thought about using a flood table in your loft. I put my soil plants in flood tables with a ressy that way all my girls get the same nutes, and makes it easy to flush when needed. Just a thought.

i would ditch the biobizz and go with H&G, the owner of House and garden designed biobizz.

for the biobizz nutes... its best to water like...... Base (grow&bloom), Water (normal organically pH'd water), Additives (top max, heaven, alg-a-mic, etc..) & repeat.... Base, Water, Additives, Base, Water, Additives... This way it gives chance for all nutes to break down before you'd even get a chance to over feed or lock out

With all nutrients its not how many ml's to put in, its the part per million or PPM you need to concern yourself with. Vegging plants will require from 400-1000 ppm depending on size and flowering requires from 900-1500 ppm stage dependant.

I would suggest a couple of meters 1-ppm and two-ph, these will ensure your in the range and keep it there. You can get them on ebay for under $20 now, so why not?
