I started my seeds a week and a half ago. I used bootleg everything this is just something small to do until I get all the proper equipment ($500). I use regular seed from sacks me and my friends had some popcorn seed (if you live in texas you know what I am talking about). I germinated some with a napkin and some just in the ground. I am sure that my space is too small for all the sprouts that are in there but some will be males so. I used M. Grow seed starting potting mix and Vermiculite 50/50. I am using a reg soft white light bulb and a wide spectrum florescent plant light (2000 lums together) no nutes yet. Most plants are about 4-7 inches tall.

I am struggling to keep the soil ph right trying to make sure plants are female can anyone help (cheap ways) i dont know or anything close to that is not an answer dont post

I added a little vinegar to the water I feed them with to help the ph balance of the soil and(6.5) this morning when I got up 2 died and others have yellow spots please help!!!

Found out today from an old school grower that vinegar kills weed never use it with your crop. Trust me it killed mine today.

have seen mold trying to come up but I have been keeping it under control with a pesticide that kills fungus also got a 65 watt cfl today. (3600 lums baby)

I move them to a new spot (cardboard grow room I made still kinda bootleg) It has way less light leaks and I can access the plants much better now and more convenient for hanging cfl will be putting pics up today.

1. plant each plant in its own pot. they will race for root space and you'll end up just seeing dead plants without any "obvious" reason.
2. don't use tinfoil. you better off painting whatever your walls are with plain white.
3. get a ph down solution, its cheap as crap and works great. for ph up, if you need it, you can use baking soda.
4. place your light 3" from the tops.
5. get some fan to blow air around, it will help growth rate as fresh air will be available and promote stem hardening due to movement.

Good luck.

I think it might be to late to separate them.

These are some pics what will happen if I try to move them to separate pots now.

I think they won't survive a month being together so you don't have many options.
pick them gently and hope the main root doesn't break.

and lower the light, they are streching for the light.

Ditch the foil and that thing full of stretched seedlings
You won't harvest enough to make it worth your while
Males are going to spray pollen all over your females so when you harvest you are going to get a small amount of low quality seeded bud
Go buy mexican brick shit and save your money until you have researched enough to do it properly
Not trying to be mean just tell the truth
