Well I'm sure now that I should have done something different, but too late now.
I f*ckd up again and wound up killing two more.
I thouhgt that the tallest White Rhino was looking too tall and lanky and decided to transplant her yesterday but when I did I noticed she was looking kinda burnt on top. She had water on her(condensation from the plastic dome) and the direct sun was bright. I transplanted her anyway.
I also decided to put a little bit of soil around the bageed sprout and apparently accidentally bent her stem and it was withered away today(Dammit it looked so healthy too).
My one Bubblious is looking pretty healthy so far and 1 WR is starting its second real leaves and the other is kinda stagnant but healthy, down to 3 (maybe 4) plants!

I took the pics in the previous post yesterday and forgot to logon and update so I just did that prior to this post.:-|
Sooooooo down to three plants and a possible at this point I figured that I had nothing to lose and replanted today even though I know I probably shouldn't have.
They just weren't getting light evenly and the Bubblicious apparently likes to be under the plastic dome (she wilts in the sun every time I uncover her) and the WRs didn't. Plus the 16 hole tray just looked way too emty now.
I used some aquarium rocks in the bottom of plastic cups with the MG MC soil on top and was VERY careful not to let any of them bend this time.
Two of the plants that died off at the top had healthy looking roots so I put them in with the burnt WR just for the heck of it to see if they come back.
I put a plastic bag over the Bubble to simulate the dome effect.
Well I'm still trying and learning what not to do and hopefully at least I learn a few good things to do along the way as well.
I've decided that I will order some more Bubblicious when I get paid on the first of the month. This time I'll order from buydutchseeds (they also said that I won their lottery and get 10 free seeds with my next order, promo I know but it sounds good) instead of Nirvana as they seem to have a better germination rate. I wrote to DrChronic today about his Nirvana seeds and told them about that too.
I think I just jumped the gun on getting started here in Wisconsin and I'll be ready for the next batch.

Hey Big Guy,

Man that sucks. In hear jiffy is the way to go with soil too.

I just got 5 fem Snow white from Nirvana and had all five sprout and put them in
the rapid rooter plugs. I saw four up right away, like 2 days. The last one never
came up though. just looked like it did when I put it in the plug.

But still you might want to try something different.

Anyway, thanks for stoppin by my grow.
I hope your luck turns around soon.

Maybe look at that carpet again,
Might be something growing there.

Jiffys suck, gotta get me some rapid roooter plugs.
Thanks for stopping by and the kind words of encouragement.
Lots of things probably living in this carpet but none of them is cannabis.
Don't worry I haven't given up, I can do this.

Happy Easter everybody!
Well the 2 WRs and 1 Bubble are still alive in their new cups.
The soil was dry on the top so I decided to water with the aid of some fertilizer today.
I found some Ferti-lome flower grower fertilizer (16-10-11) on the shelf and sprinkled a little on the top of their soil before giving them a little water. Yeah, I know not real precise. I was thinking that it was something that you mix in the water like MG but its not.
Hopefully this will help them snap back from all the transplanting.
The next batch that I start I think I will mix this stuff right in with the soil from the get go.
They didn't really look any different today so no pics.

I got a pleasant suprise this morning when I looked at the the old peat pot tray. There was a sprout lying right there on top of the soil that had grown itself a nice little tail while being cast aside and unnoticed. So I fixed another cup and put her in some nice wet soil.
Here is a group shot of the girls with there plastic bags on.
WR1 is looking good and seems slightly bigger (my imagination?) and is working or second leaves.
WR2 still doesn't seem to have done much and has kinda curled first leaves.
Bubble Girl is doing good and is working on her second leaves.

Congrats my friend,

Keep the faith. before you know it you will have a forest of green buds.

Just something I picked up the other day. Seedlings have enough nute in them to last for 21 days. I started feeding 1/4 nutes at 2 weeks though. They are doing fine.

Looking like a good start for your plants, just thought id say good job on the peat pots because i never seem to see them much on here but i always use coconut peat in all of my soil mixes. Keep up the good work and hope everything turns out good for you.

Thanks cruzer, looking forward to that forest and in the meantime harvests like your help keep my vision alive.
I didn't know that about seedlings and was wondering best time to really start nutes.:peace:

Thanks Klunk, but as for the peat pots I haven't realy given them much of a chance, tried them breifly and went right to the plastic cups. They seemed like a pain in the butt to transplant from unless you let the roots grow all the way through them first but they got too tall for that right away. Now coconut peat in the soil sounds interesting, hmmmmm..... benefits?

In the soil it does a similar job to the perlite of water retention but also i find enriches the soil and helps the roots get more O2. I tend not to use it instead of perlite but aswell with 2 part soil 1 part perlite and 1 part coco coir works wonders.

Just checked on the babies and got the days pics.
Nothing new above the soil from the new kid yet.
WR1 is getting taller and healthier.
WR2 is still kinda stagnant for growth but is looking better, the curled leaves have opened I beleive to make room for the next set of leaves.
Bubble Girl is looking healthy and is a bit taller today.
I'm liking the plastic bags over the cups, just lift the edge up and blow into them every once in a while for some added CO2
When these girls are all well on the way and it warms up a bit more outside (next week?) I'll start the next wave of seedlings.:hump:

Wow now that is pretty cool, I just heard back from DrChronic and he is sending me some freebies
I wrote to them last weekend about the poor germination rate of his Nirvana Bubblious seeds.
Hadn't heard anything back yet so I wrote again and got a reply back in about 5 minutes saying that he arranged to have some freebies sent to me. Awesome!

Time for the daily pics of the girls.
WR1 is growing good and looking great.
WR2, not much change, still curled and stunted.
Bubble Girl is noticably starting in on her second set of real leaves, looking good.

Todays update:
WR1 is looking awesome and growing like a good little weed.
WR2 is still stunted with funky curled leaves and not really growing but at least not dieing as far as I can tell.
Bubble Girl has some yellow-brown color on the tips of her leaves.
I figured it to be nute burn and gave her a flush by cutting some holes in the bottom of her cup and placing another cup with some aquarium gravel in the bottom under it. Poured water in and then drained the bottom cup and did this until I had flushed almost a full cup through her soil. I also did the same for WR2 just in case that was part of her problem too.

If your using miracle grow that could very easily be the source of your problems...the soil is way to HOT (too fertilized) for seedlings.

Trust me I learned this the hard way.

I would order some REAL potting soil like PRO-MIX, it gave me amazing results and increases in growth over other shitty soils like miracle grow from wal-mart, lowes, etc.

Yeah I'm learning a lot the hard way with this myself. If the MG soil is too hot by itself then I really blew it when I found some Ferti-lome flower grower fertilizer (16-10-11) on the shelf and sprinkled a little on the top of their soil before giving them a little water.
Time to readjust and go with plan d or e or somethi'n like that.
Maybe I can at least use up these two bags of MG soil prepping the ground outside when the rest of this snow goes away. By the time I put them out they should be able to handle the extra nutes, I hope.

Your plants need no fertilizer or nutrients until they are 4 weeks old!
So you gave them nutes plus that soil has nutes in it....and they only look a couple weeks old...ouch!
Yeah you definitely fried them.
They will probably be stunted and grow really slowly until they get out of that soil
