Now that the years coming to a close and were all cropping out, thought i'd start a thread to discuss our results. What were the strains that did well for you and what strains ended up being a flop?

Might be interesting to compare opinions and help out for next year preparations :)

I had pineapple Tie, every one died.
Did not like water or food.

Neighbors grew it and it went 5 lbs with not much food and hardly any water.

Was the only one that died and every one died.

I never knew a plant that hated water and food as much as this one.

Next year its Sativa only, no blue fuckelberry punch. No hemorrhoid emission #3 or Grape cactus berry cooler or King coo-coo funkiness nugget.

Green crack, blue dream, C99, Mr nice, that's what I want to grow.

My banana kush is nice, My cheese did 2.5 lbs each but I wont grow that again it was vanity.

My GDP was miserable! I wont grow that again but it did swell and its already rotting so had to pull.

So far I've enjoyed the Cheese Autoflower XXL from Dinafem, finished in 85 days from seed and had a Quarter Pound per plant. Verdict is still out on the photoperiod strains, stand by for future reviews.

Read it again man, It was an AUTOFLOWER it only veg's for like 30 days, It was outside Guerrilla grow and I think I might have hand watered and fed 3 times since I planted it outside. LOL and a QP isn't a half pound it's 0.25 LB.

My Pineapple Thai died as well, right at the start of flower. A neighboring Girl Scout Cookie moved in and is making good use of the space. Everything else seems to be doing well. Potency seems higher than usual. I'm thinking this might be due to the extremely dry conditions. Many sativas originate in hot, dry climates. Afghanistan, the Kalahari Desert, and Northern Africa come to mind.

2 GSC thin mints, 2 Super Girl, 6 GDP #1, 2 Blue Dream, 1 XJ 13 Goo, 2 Black Berry Kush.
-GSC-Huge nugs, resilient and easy to grow.
-Super Girl- Grows giant... prepare to stake. High yielder and easy to grow.
-Grand Daddy Purple #1- Semi temperamental, average yield, quick flower, high color leaf change.
-Blue Dream- Lanky as all hell... must stake, very temperamental, branches kept breaking at the main stem, long flowering time, mid yield, experience needed for this one and I didn’t have it.
-XJ 13 GOO- Seemed unhappy the whole time, nice size buds, mid flowering time, experience recommended, I would like to try it again.
-Black Berry Kush- Weird!!! Once it took off in "veg" it looked like a BBK x Cabbage, strange leaves (Cabbage or lettuce characteristics), flowered the whole time, resilient, smelled amazing!! Beautiful purple nugs and would believe to be an amazing plant if one grew it properly or got a quality clone. Never got to find out though, they got ripped before harvest. I would recommend anybody try it if they have the opportunity.

Outdoor grow with compost tea, 1/2 FFOF ½ Black Gold Coco Blend. I think all the strains are great but I unfortunately had to neglect them to a certain degree and rippers came 5 separate times to take my best colas. Good luck and good thread!

Blue dream never again outdoors. Although the buds that did make it were awesome it's to prone to problems. I also had a tahoe og that is finally getting trimmed and looks great. No issues. No problems. But as for the BD never again outdoors.
Yup did blue dream last year, huge plant and not alot of reward.did some cali green crack, decent buds and got mold started in alot of colas towards the end.also had some tahoe og freebies, did great tall lanky plant with nice sticky buds

OG Kush was a success, got over half a pound with 2 medium sized pots. Growing indicas in the humidity of the tropic is a fucking trip :eyesmoke::eyesmoke:
Grew a local landrace sativa last year, reveged this year and harvested again. Suffered budworm attacks both times around. Smells so sweet, no wonder it attracted so much pests. Still got couple of ounces out of it.

The only reward I got was a few ounces of fire. Which should have been at least double that if not more. Damn you blue dream.

I'm having exact opposite results. Where did you get your BD's?
Best: Blue Dream, AK47, Cherry Pie. All of these were local clones and amazing genetics.
Worst: Tahoe OG- weak stems, Orange Bud- not my flavor. They still did well.

Best indoor for production so far: Pure Power Plant, 3.4 oz dry from a relatively small 24" plant, smells good, good high, but little taste, good commercial grade for production/weight but needs some taste. Growing out the last run with 3x 30" plants and they're looking like they'll average 4 oz. each. Crossed it with some Blueberry, AoS, and JTR to see if I can add some taste and keep the production qualities.

Currently growing out a (first) good size (22" D x 36" W x 36" H) HSO Blue Dream from seed that looks like it'll give this PPP a run for production, smells excellent and bud development is crazy only 3 weeks in. Looking like a 5+ oz plant.

Worst: Platinum Bubba Kush, good smoke, tasty, good smell, not bad high but couch lock material, terrible yielder. Biggest issue I have with this strain is it's a magnet for PM. My area is bad for PM so it won't grow out again.

Good thread, keep the posts/info coming!

I'm sorry, but "Did not like water or food." was some funny shit!

I got hammered by the law of averages- I started with 12 seeds, ended up with only 3 females this year! Last two years the ratio was reversed, so it goes. I also gave away one lady before my two large sativas sexed male.

Of my two remaining, the indica is producing big dense buds with a nice purple tinge. My Jock Horror has been sickly this year, don't expect nearly as large a yield as last year where I got nearly 8oz. I topped the JH at the 6th node early this year, produced two strong co-stems but I had mold issues in the "interior" of the plant which might have contributed to the plant not doing as well as last year. Next year I will definitely clip on the inside to help improve air circulation.

I have direct sunlight issues in my backyard which limits my production. I was able to keep my girls in a spot where they got 6+ hrs direct sunlight/day but, as the buds grew and the scent became real powerful, had to move them to a less sunny spot. My new neighbors seem cool to my crop but they entertain a lot so, out of respect, have to sacrifice my sunny spot after Labor day (beginning of Sept)

Plan on harvesting in the next 7 days- will update on yield and quality of buzz later.

My Blue Dream was the star of my show this year. It started off a little slow, but once the buds started growing I couldn't stop them. And they just kept growing. My BD was on steroids and I can't wait to grow more next year. Southern California for those wondering. Honestly, it's the only thing I want to grow anymore after watching this year's bodybuilder.

HSO blue dream and probably needed a longer flower time.the tahoe og were the frostiest I had but can see where they couldn't hold up to the size you get
