Been a while since I have been on the forum, almost a year to be exact but I'm back with another grow. This time it is ~TAHOE OG KUSH~ After I harvested and pulled off my last grow (which was my 1st) I pretty much never posted back in this forum. But I randomly decided to grow again, and it's about time!

Since my last grow went pretty well with pretty much no issues, i'm going to grow this clone just about the exact same way. I'm still using CFL's, I dont see why not. I'll use the same nutrients, same soil (hyponex), and the same light schedule. 24/0 veg and 12/12 flwr, only major difference is that I planted the clone in the biggest pot I have which is the same pot I used for the end of my bubba kush, I transplanted 3 times last grow and this grow I will not transplant it at all.. I'll See how that works out..

So here it is, my new grow Tahoe OG Kush.. Never heard of Tahoe OG Kush before but I looked it up and it looks pretty bomby, better than the regular OG. I just hope this grow goes just as smooth as my last. I am going to veg and flower longer this time too, I got the room now. Pretty much the same method just a new grow closet set-up that Is much better than anything I had before.. Wish me Luck! bongsmilie

Not sure exactly how old this clone is but It's
DAY 1 for me..

If thats truely a tahoe cut of the og your gonna have some great smoke, my buddy had the tahoe og a while back and it was better than your average og. I was lookin forward to the end result of your last plat. bubba, what did you end up weight wise with that grow? Ive ran bubba for a couple of years now so I always like to compare. Anyways good luck on the grow my man, peace

Cool, Im looking forward to nice harvest.. I hope. Like I said, never heard of tahoe OG.. Sometimes I think people just make shit up lol. Hopefully the clinics have their bud classifications straight.. Im not very educated with all the different strands and what not.. I remember someone stumped me on a question like that with my last grow, I really couldnt answer the question he asked. How do you keep growing the same bud, keep making clones of your clones? *EDIT* to answer your question it wasn't much because I had no patients and pulled early.. But I learned, I yielded about 82 Grams WET so.. About half that or so.. But it was a decent smoke and I was just happy and kinda shocked I even pulled off a grow at all.

Are you down in so. cali?

Just learn all you can, read up and research just like you would with anything else you want to learn about, when it comes down do it growing isnt that hard at all but there's just a lot of different ways to improve, experience is always the best teacher. All the different cuts are basicly just certain plants out of a grow that people liked and took cuts(clones) from those plants that maybe showed a better yield or quality, or both, picking out their favorite phenos of a certain strain. If you go to elitegenetics.com I think they have some info on that tahoe cut, regardless all the og is fire so you'll be stoked. I live up couple hrs north of Sacramento and while I can get og clones, I cant find any of the particular ones that I would like, but again there all good. To keep a strain going you either keep a mother, which is just a plant that you keep in constant veg light cycle, taking cuttings whenever you want, or just cloning off your plant while its vegging...but if your just growing 1-2 plants and have great access to what you want then you probably dont need to clone unless you find something you really like. Anyways I'll be along for the ride, best of luck, peace

Alright so been a little while since I have updated..

My tahoe og clone is growing like shit! I think I know why. Only difference between this grow and my last is the soil I used. I went with miracle grow last time and it went will, on my final transplant I used hyponex because I didnt have enough soil and I grabbed a bag of this stuff to add to the bigger pot and it went fine. This time I started off with hyponex (thinking it was what I used the whole time before) and I think thats the problem. I also switched to 18/6 a few days ago to see if it would help any.. Seemed to help very little, the plant looks like it has BARELY grown and its very droopy. I also noticed MUSHROOMS!! growing, i'll rip those out as soon as my lights turn back on here in a couple hours.. I'll also post pics.. Im pretty sure the soil is killing me because It has a lot of bark in it, therefore promoting slow growth because the roots try to grow around the bark.

I can transplant and be fine right? get rid of the hyponex and use miracle grow.. Will Post pics here in a few

That might stress out the plant, you cold always add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide, per gallon of water, also add some gardenlime, roots orgaincs XL would help too.

I did some reading about soil like this and read that once you transplant the plant will respond and show much improvement.. Its gotta be the same as any other transplant, sure it will maybe shock it a little but it should jump back, because the way its growing now just is not right..and mushrooms.. i mean wtf

I got some good news and now im not sure as to what if any issue was going on.. from last night to tonight I have noticed improvements. The yellow leaf fell off.. The leaf was yellow from a result of the person who cloned the plant and there pruning of the clone. Pruning slows growth which could explain everything. I dont cut any fan leaves, I let it grow natural. Some choose to prune but as I have noticed first hand the leaves that were trimmed died. And all the rest are fine. I watered the plant last night and removed the shrooms. Tonight I found a whole new set of shrooms! so theres some growth going on lol. (pulled the new set of mushrooms) I have noticed upwards growth and the leaves arent so droopy. In fact as crazy as it sounds overnight there was a lot of mid growth along with the top leaves grew bigger. I think these photos will show what im talking about. And although the leaves are still a little droopy I have midgrowth that is sticking straight out and the plant looks like a healthy green no yellowing at all. So the plant can be possibly recovering from the trimmed leaves and or responding to the lights being turned off for 6 hours out of the day, or maybe i have been underwatering (every 4 days about a quart is fed). What you guys think!? Thanks for the input joeca1i I will look into some of that stuff. on another note i may just be worrying to much as its really only been 12 days since i planted it..

Im pretty happy and shocked at the growth of 1 day. So dont really know what the problem was but as you can see theres a huge difference between tonight and last night. Not sure if I should worry about it but the stem was a bright green when i got it and now its a dark purple
