i'm not getting it god.. what browser are you using?
you could also try and clear cookies and browser history and see if that helps, or maybe a different browswer, i use chrome and don't seem to run into a lot of problems i see others having..

I'm haven the worst time loggin in racer...but only on my laptop...iPad works fine...had to change my pw a few times...still nada.
The silver bar thing sounds weird but hopefully there will be a silver lining lol

the sites been kind of janky for me today too dannyboy.. super slow loading pages, and a few minutes ago it said the site was offline, and to retry for a live version.. i hit the back button a few times and got out of it..
saying all of that though, i haven't seen the silver thing god is talking about, yet at least..
