Big plants in little pots

I grew a sensi-star, back around maybe mid 2000s, and it was so strong it made me quit smoking pot for 4 months or so.
nice soil mix btw, I can see lots of vermiculite, and that shit is the best, that mixed with compost is (are?) like steroids.

It is very stony, my second strongest strain next to my Critical Jack Herrer.
My soil is coming along nicely. I've been working on it for a few years now. It just keeps getting better!

I cut those from an old unused smart pot and i put those in the bottom of the pot when I up-pot from a 1g to a 3g. That makes up-potting from the 3g to the 20g much easier.

The transplhandles make it possible to transplant a tall or large plant that would otherwise be either impossible or at least quite difficult to move, especially without damaging the plant.

Once the plant is root bound I just hold the pot with my feet and lift with the transpllhandles into the new pot.

Up pottong more frequently allows me to keep more plants closer to the light and once a well rooted plant hits that fresh up-pot it just explodes with growth. I think it also helps me keep the distance between nodes short on the tall stretchy sativas I like to grow.

I just had to up pot 7gallons, those strips would've helped alot ;)
