Glad to see you back, bro! I just harvested my latest grow last week as well. My Violator Kush came out AWESOME! How did yours turn out? Did it turn purple like mine did? And that Blueberry is the worst fucking shit ever as far as trimming goes. It is great smelling and tasting smoke, but there were just too many leaves for me...

Thanks buddy I miss you guys too! Trust me, I am having no fun on a regular basis! I didnt abandon you guys, just busier than sin! I get a break in Summer so let's look forward to that and meanwhile I will try and be around when I can!

Question for you. I just got a 1k ballast and was wondering.... How close do you think I could possibly get the light to the plants? *(Heat not being an issue)

Even if you were cooling the lights with an arctic blast of air, with a 1k system the heat and intensity of the lights can still be too much for the plants if you get it too close.
It's hard for me to say, since heat is, and always has been an issue for me. I have never been able to experiment with such conditions.
I keep my lights about 18-20" from the plant tops, so if heat were no issue....maybe 12-15"?
I would rather be safe than sorry. Try a safe height. If you see no issues and it still feels very cool, lower it a bit and see how the plants react. Be careful though! Too close and you WILL burn them, IMEXP.
