I'd say give them a few more days, then chop chop.
I am thinking of that.. But the weekend is convenient for the trimming.. I am a working guy and don't want to trim in the middle of the night. Saturday next weekend, could be a target if i can stretch my patience.. hahaha...

thanx for the visit by the way

Amazing out door grow! keep it up man! what i do before i chop my lady down, is i put her in the dark for 24 h/r even if it's an out door plant. Just to even that balance out and give it super bloom. Once thats done I chop her down and begin the drying process.

Automon, if you've still got plenty of new white pistils the plant is not ready. The 9 week time frame is just a general reference that the breeder uses. With your schedule, I'd wait till next weekend and see how she looks. If it's putting out plenty of white pistils now, next weekend won't be "over ripe".

You are right. I took a minor side branch just now and trimmed it. It needs a little bit longer indeed. Allthough it looks allready very promising yield wise and extremely sticky. Which is good. ;)

Amazing.. Since only two to three days the buds have dramatically gained weight and size.. Its good you guys warned me not to harvest too soon.

Hey automon, looks like our plants are at the same stage. Almost there, but not quite. I'm looking forward to harvest, but like that they are stilling packing on weight.

I cut one plant of the three which looked the most mature and the trichs looked ok. I just finished trimming (not extreme, some small leaves left probably, but all covered in trichs), here is a pic:

The weight of this bunch is about 195 grams in total. Don't know how much it will be dry. If anyone can say something sensible about that, be my guest. The other two plants are bigger and i let them mature a little more (untill sunday). :-)

Automon, that's an awesome harvest. I have no clue about dry weight, tho. And you've got 2 more that are BIGGER! Well done.

Thanks Pablo. Well, i did 1% and the plant 99%! I am lucky that the pests stayed away more or less. I had to cut some lower fan leaves at some point because the backside had some lice (i think) but nothing major really.
I think that at least 30 grams dry must be possible with this batch i have now depending on the manicuring. The other plants are growing strong, so i guess i chopped the first one al little early allthough i did it more or less on purpose. I wanted to see if the difference in the high is noticeable, due to the THC/CBD ratio.
