Never tried it, though I know this particular hybrid has been commercially available for a long time. I think there are several versions out there and can't really comment on the quality of any of them.

Its sort of a natural idea. . .take a super-popular and famous high-potency strain and cross it with a famous high-yielding strain in an attempt to get potent high-yielding offspring.

I think there are two issues with this approach:

First of all, despite ad claims to the contrary, a straight up cross like this may not end up with the best features of both parents. Instead of the potency of WW and the yield of BB, you might end up with the potency of BB and the yield of WW! Most likely outcome is that you'll end up somewhere in between both parents in yield and potency, and that's the least you should expect from this sort of cross if its being sold by a reputable house. Good if that's what you're after.

Next issue is that a straight-up cross between the two won't be stable. If you were to cross two WWxBB plants you'd expect a wide variety of phenotypes in the offspring, at least some of which probably would be the worst of both worlds. I suppose it wouldn't matter if you didn't intend to propagate this line, but the "best" WWxBB cross would require selective breeding over multiple generations to pick out the best phenotype and stabilize it. I don't know if that was done with these commercially available strains.

I'd imagine it probably has been done, but THAT plant probably goes by a totally different name.
