I'm not biased, I'm just being a realist.
If Sanders (whom I like) was running in any other country besides this bastion of Capitalism, he would be a serious contender, but he isn't, and if you think he has a chance to even be the Democratic nominee, you my friend, are fucking delusional. :)
They had to cheat to keep him from it last time.

You're saying they'll happily do it again?

Or are you saying that it's okay that the parties ignore the will of the people in their nominations?

One acknowledges that America's democracy is a sham and the other says you're cool with that fact.

Well, i'm not.

the blind pot calling the kettle myopic?
all it tells me is that Sanders is as out of touch with minorities and women, and most men, as he has ever been...and that the people who support him have too much disposable cash....which kind of rules out any of them being lower class working minorities or women....or lower class working men...or anyone who actually works for a living and doesn't sit in an air conditioned office getting paid ten times what they're worth to do shit that doesn't actually need to be done...
This might make sense if Bernie wasn't the front runner with all those groups.

I'm convinced the Dem's will bring forward a relatively unknown candidate, since most everyone else is either old as George Washington or bat-shit crazy with false promises of free college, healthcare and a living wage for not working. LOL

When my parents went to college, it WAS almost free. What changed? When did it become a radical, unattainable idea? For that matter, how can so many other nations, nowhere near as wealthy as America, be able to afford socialized healthcare for all their citizens?

Did it happen when we gave too many tax breaks to corporations and the rich? Or when we increased our military budget to levels unseen in human history, when we aren't even in a declared war, and in fact there are no threats to America's security anywhere?

Why is it impossible to afford investments in the American people but we can spend TRILLIONS of dollars on fighter planes that don't work and our representatives line up to authorize it without asking if we can afford it?

America gets a real, measurable and in fact enormous return on the investments in education and a healthy workforce.

the will of the people was for clinton. she got 4 million more votes than bernie.

also, bernie cheated. he got help from russia. probably arranged by his campaign manager tad devine, who used to work with convicted criminal and federal inmate paul manafort

Still trotting out the fact free 'Bernie is bad with minorities' line of drivel, I see.

When you're done with your silly little fantasy, you'll find he's the frontrunner in those very groups. All of them.

Clown.
he only got 20% of the black vote in 2016 and has been on the wrong foot ever since.

I get that liberal white men like him but that's not enough to win the primaries.

I have no idea how you can think he's a front runner for the Democratic Party's nomination when:

A He's an independent, not a Democrat

B He has done nothing to reach out to minorities, actually done the opposite

C He has done nothing to reach out to women activists, actually done the opposite

That you can just cover your eyes to his abysmal abilities as a leader is one of the hallmark reasons why you are such a failure.

he is NOT the front runner with all those groups...they make up 50% of HIS support right now....that's not the same as 50% of them supporting him.
Harris is thinking about it, Booker is thinking about it, Beto O'rourke...any one of the three will have more women and minorities than Bernie ever will...Warren and Klobuchar will both have more women than he ever will...he's got the fringe...just like always. he got started early this year, used what he learned last time around, and made a good start. let's see him maintain it...

Add to that the fact that the only thing Bernie has ever accomplished in his entire political life is renaming a couple of post offices, and it's over for him before it ever really begins.

I hope your wrong and the Dem's don't fuck this opportunity up like last time, but with Bernie sticking his Independent ass into the mix (Why do the Dem's allow that delusional dinosaur to run on the Democratic ticket?) who knows what the fuck will happen.

that's why i don't take it for granted that the American people will wake up and kick stupid fucking trump to the curb (which is too nice for him)...democrats can be intelligent, but they seem to have a few fatal flaws...(don't worry, republicans have more...) many of them seem to assume that everyone agrees with them...that people will "see the light" once exposed to it...they don't understand that the average trump supporter has eyes so full of shit (from having their heads alternately up their own ass, and buried between trumps cheeks, kissing his ass) that the light doesn't have a chance...they also don't seem to understand that there are people who feel differently than they do...and they usually don't seem very tolerant of those people once they are forced to admit they exist...(again, pretty much a mirror image to republicans...a comparison neither side cares for...) many democrats are very condescending, mansplaining everything to everyone in a manner that seems designed to get them smacked, then ignored, if not out right defied, just on general principles...
all of this isn't going to help sway any trump supporters away from trump...and if that isn't the goal, why fucking bother?
the Dems have to get behind one decent candidate...one with very little baggage, because trump specializes in busting baggage open and dragging it through the dirt, if he can. a candidate that has a reasonable, possibly attainable set of goals, that are designed to help the country. a candidate that commits to fixing the damage done by trump, that works at repairing international relations, international trade, re-establishing America as a world player, not a country of fools led by a fucking mad man...
i'm not sure trump will have to work that hard to get reelected, the dems may just do it for him, if they aren't careful...

Are you serious? Somebody like you who is nearly 60 years old but could not be bothered to learn the simple rules of primary voting and claimed to write in a non-running candidate is telling somebody else to get involved?!

What exactly does "involved" mean to you? Chatting up your Lyft passengers? Annoying random 7-11 employees? Silly string attacks?

Have you ever canvassed for a candidate? Have you ever volunteered during an election?

Nope. You haven't. You're like a baby discovering a new toy but understanding absolutely nothing about people or politics and now you are going to lecture?

Please. Typical Bernie baby. So narcissistic.

You give $4 a month (out of your 6 figure salary, that's .05 percent) to some fusty Ponzi-con politician and suddenly you can lecture about We the People? Pure Trumpish delusions.

Supporting Bernie: $48
Self righteous narcissism: priceless.
SEE YA.
