What do you mean by all "YOU" pot heads ? I take it your not a pot head ? Maybe it should of said "US" You've been here for a while and you are not a so called POT HEAD ?

I think most here are Users of a great thing that was put on this Planet for our Use and Medical value.

IMHO Just vote all those out that choose to ignore what this evil person (DJT) is doing and has done, Which is nothing but cause flack and confusion everywhere he talks or anything he touches. Just vote that piece of crap out of office and get back to normal, After the newly elected POTUS gets America Back to where we were before this nightmare came into dividing all of us.
We will all be happier, the thing that strikes me is all these same Morons in the Republican's seats all called their Hero now. every name under the sun until he won the election, but remember not the popular vote, by 3 million.

 Poor Biden. He's basically just an old republican that's on the nicer side. Sure, let's study weed to pretend like we care while simultaneously ignoring the alcohol and cigarette studies which either prove we don't, or prove that freedom is more important. Either way, it's a chicken shit position.

That's kind of the point, he is not going to waste political capital on this issue that already has the momentum on it's side.

Well doing nothing would be closer to letting the momentum to carry the issue, but wanting to see studies is putting something in its path, which would hinder momentum.

In the response Biden said he would want it decriminalized and record expunged for it. Just stopping short of federally legalizing it basically sticking with Obama's plan.

You're saying his plan is decriminalize now, test after that, then let the test results determine whether or not we seek federally legalizing? As long as they're consistent compared to booze/cigs, that'd be just fine.

The way he said it I would say decriminalize and then study it like you're saying. Right now it can't be studied because of all the federal grants not being able to get within a mile of cannabis (might be different now, but I have not heard anything much about it).

Right on. I think I read somewhere that there was actually one university that was allowed to study it, but it's slow going and they'd really like to be able to expand the program to other universities to speed things up.
