BHO in MagicalButter

Anyone try a Magical Butter yet?
I'm looking at trying one to make some BHO.

You can tell me to make it the simple way and to save my money, but then you'll see a story on the news about a house that blew up and all they found was butane cans on the front yard.

Have you looked into dry sift and Rosin? Much safer alternative and then you can use the left over buds for cooking with.

As far as I know the Magical Butter machine is not for makin BHO. Unless it's changed since the last time I looked at them.

the simplest is have someone do it that knows what they are doing... generally they take half but all you do is give them the product..

if you don't know what your doing you really need someone that knows what they are really doing to show you theres a lot of simple tricks to make it easy but cheap isn't the word to use when making BHO properly.. you need a vac oven regardless to properly purge the BHO and get everything out of it that can hurt or poison you.

mr. head is right the magic machine isn't for BHO its butter only

your probably looking at dirt cheap used stuff... 600$ to get everything you need... new.. some vac ovens start at 800$.. some good BHO chambers start at 300$+ closed loop systems is what you really want they are 1500$ or so.. plus a good oven your looking at 2000$+ then you need the extra refined BHO which is 4-5$ a bottle depending on where or how you buy it.

We used to make BHO back in the day and smoke it off a small saucer when it wasn't purged at all and was just tacky enough to scrape. It's changed so much with all this vac purging and whipping it and all these other different methods of releasing the gasses.

I've learned a lot since those days and that wasn't very smart. Now I try and stay away from solvents all together.

Ive used mine 3 times. Its in the box in the closet. Like others said its not for BHO. Actually this thing sucks compared to the crockpot for butter and oils

Was just looking for some tips / tweaks to the recipe.
I've already seen budder made in this thing and it was easy breezy and great quality.

i was always wondering how well it worked.. does it get too hot? i couldn't see the point to it.. other than if you don't have a crockpot and needed to buy one .. then MAYBE i could see getting that instead

Oh ok I think it's just terminology that's been confused then, BHO refers to butane blasting either in a closed loupe system or down some sort of tube into collection plate.

What you're looking for is coconut oils and such right?

your thinking of cooking oil... BHO or simpson oils can't be made in the butter machine

I am not sure what I am doing wrong
Follow the directions, says DO NOT ADD WATER...so I dont. What I end up with is a lump of melted butter and herb all mixed up, looks like lawn when you cut it wet. Nothing will strain out. Ended up up with a huge mess and just dumping it into the crockpot with hot water to salvage it.
How do you make butter with this thing? It is called the Magic Butter right?

Sorry, not cooking oil and maybe not BHO. They call it MBO essential oil.

I'm going to try it tonight if I can find some of this 95% grain alcohol - any tips on acquiring that?

Very hard to find in Canada. There's ways to make it with a simple still but I haven't found where to buy it here.

Getting some from the US next time I go.

you can order it on any alcohol site... look for spyrutus... i think thats how its spelled.. its the highest purest form you can get in a bottle its also ph neutral if i remember correctly.
