Better Luck This Time:

In Oct. I wrote that I had 6 plants and they all came out to be males. Well two other weak ones started budding two weeks later and I had some very powerful buds from them. There were only a few buds, but they were excellent medicine. Each bud produced two cigarettes, each of which was good for 4 medicinal intakes.

In Nov. I planted 18 seeds. I planted 16 sprouts in 8 pots, two to a pot.

In each pot, one grew well and one grew weakly except for two pots where they both grew well. One was so weak that it had to be burned.

I changed the lighting cycle on March 1st. At that time I had 10 good ones and 5 weak ones. The good ones were very bushy, but not very tall as lighting and space are limited. One of the weak ones had no potential and had to be burned.

Two good ones in the same pot were males.

Four other good ones and one weak one were also males.

I had to burn the males for the security of the females.

So I have 4 good ones and 3 weak ones left.

In have counted 140+ buds beginning to grow on the 4 good ones and one on one of the weak ones. The good ones look like more buds will begin soon. I should have 160+ one gram buds altogether. For each pot used, I should have an average of 1/2 ounce of buds, a 1/2 ounce of leaves and 1/2 ounce of stems.

I have also planted 30 more seeds and the first six sprouted last night. I hope to get 20 sprouts and I will have 10 pots for this grow. I will have to let one male live long enough for me to gather some pollen. I will selectively spread it to produce my next seeds.

My lights consist of floor and desk lamps at different heights. Three short, 3 medium and 3 tall. I have about 12,000 lumens which is a lot less than ideal.

But it worked and I will get better at it.

The smoke from the ones that were burned was satisfying enough to get by and keep me healthy.

Just breathing the air in the room for 5 minutes is a decent experience and a good cure all.

The buds should be very potent.

Notice that I did nothing fancy:

I used regular Miracle Grow soil.

I kept the soil wet but not flooded. I only needed to water every two weeks.

I added nothing. I just let them grow.

I know that most of you guys have much better set-ups, but for those of us who just want to produce our own medicine, this worked well.
