Best way to hang CFLs? I need a snakelight set up...

Does anyone remember those "snakelights", they had a long thin bendable cord that would resume whatever shape you bent the light at?

It is far too difficult rescrewing and retieing 7 bulbs everyday as my plant expands and grows higher. And I have about 10-15 random CFL burns all over the plant just from not being able to move the lights properly. I was thinking a coat hanger originally but the metal would be too thin to support the CFL heads.

I just want an "arm" I can attach to the wall, that can bend the CFLs at any angle possible. What can I use to do this?

Here this is my problem more specifically. Its getting impossible to hang the CFLs any higher, and if I had a bendable arm of some sort I can push them exactly where they all need to be. Anytime the plants grow out an inch, I have to rescrew the hangers out so it stays centered. And anytime the plants grows upwards, I have to move the lights to the side cause they can't go any higher. I'm gonna start tieing the branches outward, which will give me another foot of height space, but the hanging system I have just sucks. I can't stop burning my leaves as it seems to be happening now at least once everyday.
I wake up, the lights are on and the plants have grown right into them. Never fails.

Heres the burns from the top. I'm mainly worried that if I burn too many fan leaves its going to start effecting the buds growth. First thing I do when I wake up is adjust the lights, but even if I leave for a few hours its astounding how much a branch can pull itself towards the lights.
Or maybe the real problem is I need to fasten the plant so its branches cant move? Because even if the light is 2 inches to the side they pull themselves like a moth right into it.
