My thoughts exactly, I've moved off BHO but was certain vector was the best at the time. Wrong again

By updated is he retesting brands continuously or just testing new brands? These brands change whats exactly in the cans often. Whats a purer can today may well be chalk full of impurities in 3 months

Can you show me some info about these brands changing up there formulas?

i dont have info of actually changing a "formula"
but in my short time on riu, ive seen good folk in c&e having done tests on brands and later on found that same product doing poorly.

fadedawg vacpurge and twitch i know have all commented on this


butanes really not my preference, ive done it sure and can help folk..but i dont have enough current info on nrands to comment

We pre-distill all of our gas before using it for extracting, regardless of source, and always have residue in our pot from distilling off a 48# charge for a Mk IV or V. We just have less with the good stuff.

With the worst, there are standing puddles of amber to brown oil in the pot after distilling 48#, and with the best, there is a thin transparent film on the inside of the pot that you can write your name in with your finger, but you have to hold the light right to read it. If you smear it with a white rag, the rag will come away dirty.

The cleanest gas that we've had tested was 95.5% Praxair Instrument Grade from Apis Labs in Eugene. It actually tested 99.9% purity relative to molecules larger than C-4 and 99.995% after we distilled and filtered it through a VICI Metronics filter.

Praxair LPG gases are US oil and US refined under certified ISO 9001 controls, and they use Six Sigma to maintain quality, so thus far we haven't seen any quality swings.

We get ours locally through [email protected] and I understand they do ship.
