Best time to Germinate

I need to know the best time to germinate my Indica/sativa strain seed for here in so cal USA, I have not grow any since 1975 and am really out of practice, but am very enthusiastic again. thanks in advance.

You mean for growing outdoors only? If so, late May-early June.

or just start now, keep it veg, take clones and plant a lot outdoors when the time comes for that

seed in moist soil will germ and grow right, dont need fancy new methods
