I am trying out my first indoor CFL grow(grew outside this summer) and i have 1 Northern Lights that is 21 days old and doing great! its vegging 18/6 right now and i have the fox farm nutrients line up. this may be a dumb question but its there an optimum time to feed plants? meaning: feed when the lights come on, before they go off,"mid day", or when the lights are off? does it even matter?

When the lights first come on.

Watering when the lights 1st come will reduce your chances of developing mold, mildew, etc. It allows the lights to evaporate any excess humidity from the watering.
Also, you might already know this...
But, it goes hand-in-hand with my elaboration to SJ's answer. You should also leave your exhaust fan ON 24-7. This is another crucial factor in preventing mold and mildew.
Happy growing!
