It's been scientifically proven that the optimal growth temperature is 77-80F. I'll hunt down the research sometime later, but that seems to be what you're looking for.
doesnt thc start to degrade or someshit at 80 degrees unless you have co2? i thought optimal was like 75-78

Temps for air?.. canopy top temps?.. Soil temp? Hydro water temp?..
If youre not checking all of these, you're heads not in the game.
I think you want higher temps for plant metabolisim. But try to drop it at the last week or so, so you're not scorching those precious terpenes.

A visual representation of the vapor pressure deficit. Basically if it is hot and dry your plant will dry out, if it us hot and moist enough, the vascular system can keep up. Has to do with how much water the air can hold at certain tempuratutes and what that means to a plants vascular and respiratory systems

When it comes to flowering after the end of week 3 i say to hell with vpd and drop rh to 40% though. Still a nice guideline

I run 60-70 during the seedling stage. Down to 50-60 lights off. Between 70-80% humidity.
After the 3rd node I gradually increase up to 70-85 (sativa/indica dependent). Down to 65-75 lights off. 50-60% humidity.
Flowering same temps until the last 2-3 weeks. Down to 65-75 lights on, 55-65 lights off. 40-50% humidity.

70-80 is ideal, but the great thing about cannabis is it does a fairly good job at adapting to environments.
You've got the southern growers dealing with 85-90 or more temps and northern growers like myself that deal with winter temps.
Of course some strains adapt better than others.
