Best strains for limited water supply

I'm planning on growing a few feminized plants outdoors in the southern US this growing season. The problem is that I don't live near where I will be planting the seeds, so will not be able to water them. I'm going to plant the seeds with polymer crystals to try to help with the lack of watering. My question is : Are there any strains that are good at surviving outdoors with little water?

I would look at strains that grow naturally in the climate you are considering. However I live in cali and I realize the weather isn't what it used to be so I would look for a strain that grew in a fucking desert like kush any afgaine.

Ok yeah, I think im going to go with feminized Maroc. I think that should work well because it comes from Morocco, which is a pretty dry area.
