Best strains for growing in hot, humid, moist (yes I said it) conditions?

I live in South FL and it can be a bitch to grow outdoor during the summer due to heat, humidity, lack of breeze etc. I was wondering if anyone has any strains that seems to do well in similar climate? I have the best luck with Autos (Ive only bought from ILGM) because there much more idiot proof. I'm not a sativa fan but Jack Herrer has been the best success wise. I have 2 OG Kush flowering now and the spring weather has been amazing but some type of white flies or something has been a huge battle all springand. Im surpised these actually survived.
Anyway, Im wondering if anyone else has any strains that do well outdoors in hot and humid conditions?

I did do some non autos all last summer from GPS. They got huge but the heat got so bad around july/aug that i started having issues with bud rot and wilting of plants. I ended up with 12 of the largest ball point jars full of pretty shitty weed as I pulled it before they had totally finished or I was about to lose them. I think I will likely just turn it into butter for any use whatsoever.

Thanks alot in advance.

Conditions there don't have me thinking of Indica Kush thats for sure. +1 try some more sativa influence they like heat and lots and lots of extended sun and different kinds of tropical climates inc. sometimes with more humidity being the norm.

Some like the drier heat better, others more humidity. You have to play around with different genetics and trial and error to taylor strains then hold on to them. I'm sure there are some that fair really well in hot humid conditions. Mold resistance is another thing I'd have on my check list. Some are so susceptible to molds while it hardly or never bothers others.

Last summer was a very hot and humid summer in Southern Ontario, but I had good results/no issues with my Glookies and Black Domina strains. I had one bit/nugg of mold on my BD but that was because it was resting on a tomato cage and the weight had caused all the moisture to drip where it rested with my plant.

I also grew Alaskan Purple, Jack Herer, Blueberry, Durban Poison and a Rainbow Kush. All of them suffered some sort of white powdery mildew, well Alaskan Purple came out ok. Everyone else were hit, and had pretty much destroyed my Rainbow Kush to nothing

Dj shorts true blueberry is delicious, a real treat. But I'd not attempt it outside, even in a fair 'ideal' climate. Inside you'll love it.

This is neither the time nor the place but perhaps you'll get it one day :hump:
I get that it is a sex thing, and I know what it is that can be moist, it's just so weird to me that the bare mention of the word moist is immediately related to it, that doesn't occur in other languages. I guess is one of those things...

I know back in the day there was plenty of Early Skunk #1 grown in big empty barns just outside Tampa with just fans in there. Just sold it back then, but went to a couple of the spots. Now I’m always wondering how that worked, but the flower was great.

I don't know what you're talking about.

yea, as a non native english speaker, I don't get it.
ohhh I didnt realize it was not an international thing. People here over the past year (mainly women from what i have noticed) hate the word moist. It disgusts them. I have no idea how this came about or when but all of the sudden its a thing. my apolgoies, i should have clarified the bad joke.

Thanks for everyones feedback. Im not a Sativa fan unfortunately. That being said, I think maybe finding a hybrid of sorts migth help. My Jack H loved the heat and did the best of all my plants so that makes sense.

I assume they had lighting in the barns correct? lol Having a fan defintily makes a noticeable difference I have learned.

They for sure had lights in there, but they were the same hot and humid conditions you were talking about. Probably hotter and more humid in there with all of the lights and plants than outside in the open. I remember the big fans that blew air in from outside. How did they not get pests and stuff? I’m always wondering how they did it now.

very cool to know. Thank you very much for the info. honestly, the barns might make it easier. The direct sunlight can be overwhelmingly hot and I cant move them around all day and have fans all over the place without drawing too much attention. Being able to control the light would potentially make things a tad cooler (at best) during the horrible summers from hell here. Im waiting for them to kick in anyday and not looking forward to them again.
