Lowe's Sta-Green Flower and Vegetable Soil.

Perlite for extra drainage.

Jacks 20-20-20 all purpose dry fertilizer(I use Megacrop)

Cheap Epsom Salt for extra Magnesium.

Use tap water for the added calcium.

Just my 2 cents.
Hey mate, really gotta thank you! I'm loving that Sta soil. Didn't use epsom but ammended with perlite and crab meal. My Blue Dream is loving that shit and I started an herb garden with it and my herbs are growing like mental in that shit. Also thanks to the lads who recommend Mega Crop too. Coco loves it. Cheers lads!!!

Well like I said I'm trying to get a set it and forget it system going because coco is starting to get tedious. So I'd rather just use soil and not have to fk around with mixing nutes so often.
I switched to a Hempy bucket fed with Mega Crop and love it! So simple a caveman can do it, I proved that. ;)

2" of perlite in the bottom, then a 30/70 mix of coco/perlite.
There's a drain hole 2" up from the bottom... water with nutes until you get a little run-off from the drain hole. Done. Almost impossible to over or under water.

I'm using using the free sample of Mega Crop. :hump: I mix a batch of water in a 5 gallon bucket, then use that to water every other day.

It's one of the cheapest nutes anywhere and it doesn't get any simpler than the 1 part formula.

Yeah I got a bunch using it on my 10 gallon smart pot coco grow. You gotta flush a lot though.

I don't think flushing is normally needed with hempy buckets. The run-off should prevent salts build up, sort of a flush with every watering.

Never flushed in 8 weeks and they're doing great, better than ever! I did a lot of reading about hempy buckets, I think flushing is only needed if problems develop?

I'm not in a hempy I'm in straight coco and it definitely needs frequent flushing.

I wrote two blog posts about soil building that you can read at www.peasyo.com. My plants are flourishing on straight water using the Rocket Soil as fertilizer. It is based on bagged manures and free horse poop from stables.
