Best practices for capture of dry ice hash

This post is not really asking how to sift using dry ice. That part is not an issue.

What I am interested in finding out is what do you use to capture the trichomes?

A box and parchment paper? A glass table?

The reason I'm asking is because it truly seems like a ton can get lost fast as it's a powder that can go everywhere vs wet where it's all in one spot.

I will be trying dry ice (have always done wet) this go around and wanted some best capture practices to not lose a ton of it.

Thanks

That's fair.

The plan is to use bubble bags. A 73 and 25. As this is my 1st time arr there better suggestions?
I have used the 75 bubble bag inside a turkey bag and also just on a large work table...I think just on a table was easiest. You will see. It doesn't just fly around like you would think..it more kinda falls, like a really wet snow.

Any specific brand of work table you suggest?

I made some on top of a mirror, (on top of the kitchen table) thinking the 2 x 4 surface would be big enough to catch everything. It was not, trichs still went over the sides, into the frame around the mirror. And onto the table where maybe there was some dog hair or two.

I think a box and parchment paper would be too small to work with comfortably.

Next time I'll lay some of this black plastic drop cloth down over the table. Plenty wide enough to cover the whole table, a fresh, clean, smooth surface and a good color for the trichs to stand out against.

The dry ice method is way easier and faster than using water and ice.

One thing I forgot about was keeping the bag dry when using the dry ice. I rinsed the bubble bag one last time to be sure it was clean, right before I made the hash. When I started shifting Tons of resin got stuck to the wet sides of the bag. I waited and scraped most of it off. But it was a pain in the ass waiting, and some trichs were lost.

I use 2 buckets. One has the bottom cut out and that one sits inside another bucket. I add the trim, dry ice, shake, and collect in the bottom bucket. No mess.

Just a couple cheap buckets from Lowes and screen I got off of Amazon.

Do you happen to remember the screen you purchased on Amazon? Size, micron size and so on?

Edit. Actually if I take a bubble bag and put it over the bottom of the cut bucket that should do it.

Thank you for the knowledge.
