Best outdoor strains that are mold resistant

There's 2 types of BT bacteria so pick the right one.
BTi is for gnats and things in your soil. Usually a soil drench solution or Mosquito bits in the soil.
BTk is foliar application for caterpillars and things eating your leaves. No sense spraying too early, not many caterpillars.
I grow corn in the back row as a lure crop and index crop, big bugs flock to that first, smaller moths go for the buds later in the season.
Watching the corn is easy, watch the buds in the evening/early am to see small moths doing patrols, then spray.

I would highly recommend 11 roses from delicious seeds it's really really potent in the head in fact one of the most potent outdoor strains I've ever grown it has excellent mold resistance the only thing is it doesn't have a really early finishing time I'm at 45 and it finishes between the 10th and 15th of October which isn't bad but for some people it's just too late..it stays short and compact too with really long buds but very very little mold and a two years that it's a 5 lb I probably got an ounce or two of mold
I bought 80 seeds this year so I'm stocked up for the next couple years

Right, I brought up BT because OP mentioned the plants had budrot. If it was a different mold, OP (e.g. powdery mildew or the dreaded botrytis), there are other sprays you could do... from the simple and DIY like a baking soda in water concoction, or the product Dr Zymes, to bigger guns like the soil bacteria derived Serenade. If it's just budrot though, BT. Also, I might consider doing some preventative sprays in veg, e.g. copper spray, but I'd only use that one very sparingly, and only in veg.

I was unaware there were treatments for bud rot.i just figured because it was such a cold, rainy fall and the flowering took as long as it did it was unavoidable for the most part. Thanks for enlightening me though.

Sounds like a very solid choice. Does it hold up to the rain well? That's what really got me was the rain last year and I doubt there is much I can do about that except hope for a drier fall. It could have also been my location. It was in a wooded area next to a creek in a low spot. So I'm thinking it was holding all the moisture in.

It's a preventative, not a treatment for budrot (unfortunately). Fall is lovely, but argh the molds.

Your arguing semantics here: caterpillars CAN and DO cause botrytis. And BT helps prevent them, and thus, botrytis

Last fall was really wet,but I still got very little mold...it is just pretty resistant

The best choice for grow spots to prevent mold is something that gets sun right early in the morning to try those buds and leaves up quickly.....

I've never grown outside but I've good friend living in southern Europe he grows a strain called "the church" specifically for mould reasons, he says its one of more resistant strains.

He's no bull shiter so it's worth checking out.

AMS is a similar strain and come out about the same time as the church. its suppose to stand for anti mold system

I’m here all day for this thread. I heard Cindy 99 was supposed to be really mold and mildew resistant out here in Maine. And I’m gonna be honest she really was. But it’s absolutely the worst plant I have ever had to trim up. Looking forward to other peoples suggestions I also run white widow every year and she is pretty mold and mildew resistant because of the way she grows. Any sativa dominant has been pretty good other than time to flower. I did run Tahoe OG here last year and I lost 30% of my harvester bud rot. Big chunky thick buds I just couldn’t get enough airflow into them. Sad. Wouldn’t run it again.

Serious 6, hands down one of my favorite for outdoors, short flowering yet 90% sativa, mold resistant, beautiful pink pistils. High is good, but not Kali Mist level, but still better than 99% of the hybrid dispensary trash. Kali China by Ace, my favorite hybrid, also mold resistant, just an all around awesome plant and high.

Hey where did you pick up the serious 6 I want to grow a really dominant sativa this year and I’m trying to find the right one.

Critical kush does good.

Exodus kush,critical mass crosses all do well outdoor
I've also grown Jager punch from Bradley Danks 2 years in a row...great resistance,purple,looks indoor and smells and tastes like grape koolaid

I'm doing eleven roses,unknown Kush and northern lights blue from delicious,dp blueberry(does really well outside too)and grandaddy black from original sensible seeds this year

I'm curious about the finish time of Kali China outdoors and about which latitude you grew them at?

Among the most mold-resistant plants I’ve had were Seedsmans White Widow, specifically the short, squat fruity-grape candy pheno’s. I let them go until I think October 26 last year here in Massachusetts, and one out of three had maybe a TINY spot.

Great hybrid with a nice up motivating high, and different than the dispensary/street strains up here.

Glad to hear that because thats what I ordered. From Seedsman as well. Hopefully it doesn't take super long for them get hear because the only major concern I've read about ordering from Seedsman is delivery time.
