Check out Mandala seeds. They have some great Indica strains and their plants are bred to be pest, mould, and heat resistant.. and cheap to boot.

Holland's Hope is a pure indica bred for pest and mold resistance. The strain has been around since the mid 80's. Also supposed to be an early finisher.

Growing it indoors at the moment for seeds. Not impressed with its indoor performance but will reserve judgment until I grow it outdoors. I have a clone from Nirvana and 3 plants from Dutch Passion going. Wherever you buy it I would select for the most indica looking pheno.

I also grew Texada Timewarp a few years back. It did really well until the rain hit in late September and it got mold. Supposedly a favorite with Canadian growers. Bought the seeds in Vancouver, can't remember the name of the shop. Might be one to look into.

Dr. Greenthumb has a good reputation but very expensive.

you cant go wrong with the sensi outdoor mix. i think its tight they went down from 40 seeds to 25 seeds !
but def some amazing range of diverse smells / tastes etc. I had some real gems i will never forget . i def recommend these rather than going for one strain.

they work in the UK !

Just took a look at the sensi outdoor mix. Looks good, but they do include autoflower seeds in that mix.

Their guerillas gusto looks promising. Might be buying that one for next year...

HG, were you able to identify the gorillas gusto plants when you grew the mix? If so what did you think of that plant?

As for the Guerilla's Gusto I germed 20 this year and got 7 starts 4 decent ones and 3 runts. Even the nice ones are lagging behind. I'm still looking forward to trying them though I dunno if the seeds were old or what but they are very slow outta the gate

Tristy, thanks for the review on the Guerilla's Gusto seeds. Sounds like Kaya Gold is solid plant, from Nirvana's description it sounds like the kind of plant I am looking for. Might be interesting to cross it with Hollands Hope...

in hindsight wouldnt it be good if we all dusted the lower branches with collected male pollen of tried and tested outdoor strains so as to spread the seed !

Every year I grow purple maroc from female seeds and then a number of different strains just to try different ones and every time the purple maroc does the best for me. Usually finishes late August, its a big yielder, and ive never had any problems with mold or bud rot.

I recently did purple maroc indoors and had terible trouble with powdery mildew on that one particular plant (out of 9 different strains)some of the others got little spots here and there but it seemed to bloom prolifically on the purple maroc. That being said I did a second grow after cleaning up and got a better result but it still manifested some spots of it but other than that everything you say is absolutly true and it has a unique and very distinct flavor truly enjoyable.

The only plant I have grown that seems to be untouchable by mold or powdery mildew is world of seeds "northern lights x big bud" I got it through the attitude.plants will rot/mildew all around it and it will just stand there un touched.I would definitly recomend this strain where mold is an issue.(it's killer crystal covered bud to boot)

On attitude it says purple maroc doesnt do well indoors, i wonder if its because of the mildew issue

Could be I got it as a freebie and as withall my freebies I grew it out and cloned it so if I liked it I had more with out having to order imediatly.thats why I had plants for a second grow otherwise I probably would have only run her the one time after all the troubles with the first run.But I do feel that it was good smoke and very tasty just beyond my present abilities as a grower. However I never read that it didn't do well indoors so mabe that was it but I still asume it was something that I did...LOL...Don't lame the seed...LOL
