Best Nutrients for Quality at Any Price

I’ve been using Athena for a couple years, alternating between blended and pro lines and while yield and bag appeal is amazing, I feel flavor and nose leave a little be desired. I also feel they are more marketed towards commercial grows looking for the best quality at the cheapest price.

I grow on a small scale indoors and looking for the best quality period. At any price. I alternate between coco and rockwool. Drain to waste with netafim drippers.

Also need it to mix clean and be able to last in the res for a couple days at a time. I’ve used house and garden and heavy 16 and everything gets gunked up after a bit. Even the Athena pro line clogs my drippers as the salts don’t break all the way down even with an aeromixer.

I can’t see myself switching from floraflex anytime soon. My reservoir has never been cleaner and my ph is stable from full to empty.
The answer is whatever works for you. I know people using pH Perfect with municipal water and getting good bud. No meter. No nothing. It's what works for them.

Would you care to elaborate?

Genetics * Environment = End Result

Nutes are a small part of the equation
If all genetics, environment and all other variables are the same, you would say there would be zero difference in the final product regardless of what nutrients are used?

So using your reasoning there is no difference in organic soil vs salts and rockwool? Liquid based vs powder based? Sugars/carbs? Sweeteners? The flower will have exactly the same density, color, potency, and terpene profile as long as genetics and environment are the same?

Are you saying you can tell the difference just by smoking if it was grown organically vs salt based nutrients? That's impressive.

Pretty much any reputable brand of nutes will work just fine. Enhancers, additives, sweeteners, etc. fall under the broad category of snake oil.
