Hey @CoB_nUt

I made the manifold, its gonna need legs or support on the side opposite of the pump, pump isnt heavy enough to balance it, so tomorrow im just gonna grab the proper parts and place the pump in the middle as normal. Shouldnt need legs , but might add legs anyway lol

Just to clarify, you just use tap water, with no nutes added at all? do you ph the water? my tap sits at 55ppm.

ill be back when im done.

Hey diggs.Yea, I figuered the manifold would be top heavy to one side. You just might not need the legs once you put the pump centered underneath it.Nice option to have tho.

Yes I use tapwater.Mine is 190-220 depending on the weather...lol I think. It's consists mainly of calcium and magnesium with some other minerals according to my water quality report.
I don't ph it,nor do I let it sit out before use. This is how I do it diggs.Simple is better in my scenario.Yes,I have used clonex, rooting powders etc..in the cloner, but when I run out of those samples tapwater only never fails.

Your water sounds great.Do you fertigate your plants with your tapwater? Your tap isn't far off from RO depending what it consists of.
Yea,check back I'd like to see your creation.

Hey @CoB_nUt

Here she is, in all her glory lol

Clones were already starting to wilt after 18 hours in glass of water. Hopefully they will pull through

I have timer set to 15/15 and am using tap water only. Humidifier running , t5s at a distance.

Let me know if there's something I should be doing differently.
Engineering beauty! Nicely done my man.
Those babies should perk up in no time.
Sounds like you have all your cloning parameters in check.
I want to see at least some root nubs around the 5 day Mark. Lol kidding. That cooler cloner is gonna make you a happy man.I like it.
Can you believe units like this go for $125.00 +?

Thanks man, all your help is very much appreciated.

Ya it was easy to build and never cost me too much.

I got t5s set for 18/6.... would 24/0 be fine too?

Do you ph your tap water or just straight tap?

I never ph'd , just thought about it.

One method from a clone master.
(I have not used this method yet)

===========
4 days with only tap water, ph to 6.0.

Do a water change, tap water, ph to 6.0. Add 1.5ml dip n grow concentrate per 2.5gal of clone water.
===========

5 days since they went in the cloner

No signs of roots yet

They have gotten greener it seems? But the 2 that were wilting after cut have only gotten worse

2 choices here 1: cut the leaf down to make little trees
2: cover the green in a damp plastic bag open for air every 2 hours

good luck

its basic cambium enginerring or teasing out the thin layer under the bark, after 3 days you get bacteria growing ..honey is the best hormone. clonex is often free too

You mean cut everything below the very tops? Like little bonsai?

I have the entire tent under good temps and rh. You still think they would need a dome?

I can put rh at 99%+ if needed.

Thank you for replying

Here they are 7 days since going into the cloner

Roots started showing on 1 at day 5. The rest are slowly following along.

Still just non ph'd tap water in the cloner

Not sure what to do now? Lol
Do I give them light nute dose?
They will be planted in soil, I've heard to not let roots grow too long, how long tho?

I haven't feed my clones until they are growing and transplanted, I start them in solo cups with potting soil. I have good luck with just trimming the leaves down, slicing the bottom of the stem, stick in potting soil and in a closet under T12's.

This is interesting. Just saw some roots pop out today, the branch was from a plant I had in flower and has clear trichomes on it. I am curious as to what it will do now.

Another two with roots that will go in coco.

Nope,I don't ph my tap.Staright out the spout. Your light schedule is fine, it's the intensity, they don't need a lot of light. We want them rooting, not eating.
