(Best lighting scenarin for growing ONE plant ? )

Hey, newbie grower in the works here. Just curious, if I'm growing only one plant indoors, what is the best type of light(s) to use and what wattage?

Depends on how much money you have, and how big you want the plant to be...

Well, if I wanted to yield a pound what would I be looking at?
And if I wanted to yield half a pound what would i be looking at?

(In terms of lighting and cost)

Lol. Indoors? I dont think you will be hitting those numbers indoors. Either spend $20 on CFL's or $150+ on HPS (remember electricity too)

Really o_^ ? I'd of thought I'd get a larger yield from a controlled environment which I can tweak to my liking, rather than outdoors, which I can't control.

How many CFL's do you recommend?

are you kidding? people grow that all the time indoors. if you want a lb get a 600w or 1000w hps. if you want a half then get a 400w or a 600w. go check out the indoor growing section or check out some journals.

Get a digital/switchable 1000W Ballast and 1 Metal Halide bulb and 1 HPS bulb. Veg it for 3 months under MH and FLower under the HPS and I bet if you do everything right you may get over a half pound to a pound.
